If I’m reading what you said correctly, the Enigma only works with pistols with optics? Sounds a little weird to me. I’ve never seen a holster utilize the optic as the retention point, they usually are on the trigger guard or flashlight.

No im saying that it does work with and without optics,

The Enigma just attaches to most AIWB holsters to make them work without a belt

My main downside is I was dumb and got my optic cut by Mod-K (the milling is actually done very well thats not my issue with Mod-k, which also now doesn't exist) but I don't have a cover for the milled spot to run it as just an iron sights gun if I wanted which kind of sucks

See and I was thinking 407c just before they used to go for 140 bucks and it'd just well a cover plate for that gun lmao..

But now I'm wondering if just any off the rack cover plate could be used making the gun actually usable again

im pretty sure you could use any plate. The optic milling as long as it was done right should be all the same since the mounting surface all have to be the same for an RMR. But Tradecraft Armament bought out ModK and they might be able to get you a plate.

Oooh??? Solid thanks I figured between how much Kaz probably had in unreturned parts and the whole ATF raid and what not that they just ghosted (like he did to all his customers) bout to email them now and see if I can get a cover plate

I have no idea. It's not what I was supposed to get. I called the manufacturer. My contact said they were idiots and the repair kits I was supposed to get would be shipped out ASAP.
