Ordered some synthetic rams horn grips from N.C. Ordnance. They arrived today. They required some filing and sanding for fittment, but it was minor and tge material is super easy to work with. I originally wanted some stag grips, but they are very expensive. So for now these will fit the bill. They are very well done and they were able to recreate the translucense of the ram horn well (hopefully that shows up in the pics). I also have a new base pin and cylinder coming.

My father called me up today and said come pick up some ammo, and a holster his friend had given him.

Scored a nice Alessi j frame holster, and several boxes of ammo. The ammo included a box of " 125gr nyclad" which I've never heard of. Apparently it is out of production and is considered a great round for snubbies.

Not what I got, but what I removed today.

A couple "ny compliance" accessories of questionable legal merit.



The one on the AK was just belt and suspenders (it had a NYLAK stock and no other "features").

The one from the Saiga-12 OTOH was the only thing keeping that even remotely NY legal (maybe).

I'll have to wait for the movers to show up with the rest of our stuff to finish "unneutering" my stuff.

Also (finally) stopped by the LGS.

Picked up a couple full size mags ($12.50 each)



Nice guys (and girl) working there, but other than those mags the shelves were pretty bare.

I'm pretty sure I've got more guns and ammo at home than they do.

Used the corded version a few years ago to cut ½" sch 80. Made for an easy job of it. Thankfully all the fittings were being welded so the fact that some of my cuts weren't square didn't matter much

Very cool Depick!!! How do the blades hold up? I can't find decent hacksaw blades anywhere, even the Starrett's suck!!!!!

If you run the saw correctly and avoid binding the blade they usually last pretty long.
