Sadly they are more afraid of BLM/ANTIFA etc. than they are law abiding US citizens.Honest question here; if SCOTUS rules for Texas suit, antifa burnlootmurder and related nutcases go crazy in democrat cities, if SCOTUS rules against Texas suit, the real resistance begins everywhere. Which is the worst prospect?
This is why I fear that SCOTUS will not actually hear arguments and will make their decision based on the briefs and responses filed by the states. I believe that Roberts will find, or create, some legal loophole through which the court will exercise some amazing display of mental acrobatics in order to avoid actually deciding anything.Sadly they are more afraid of BLM/ANTIFA etc. than they are law abiding US citizens.

Trump joining this case may legally make it less appropriate for SCOTUS. The reason: There is no other court to handle disputes between states. But, if a non-state entity is a plaintiff, then there are other courts available to that litigant. Thus, the case is less appropriate to be primarily heard by SCOTUS.
The House Leaders have personal and direct insight into both the goals of the General Assembly in its recent amendments to the Pennsylvania Election Code, and also in how state courts and outside actors have subverted those intentions via spurious lawsuits, extrajudicial Executive Branch guidance, and manipulation of election procedures at the county level. This wholesale evisceration of the Pennsylvania Election Code had a deleterious effect on the procedural safeguards put in place by the General Assembly.
Imagine this: SCOTUS takes the case and rules that the MI, WI, PA, and GA held invalid elections due to constitutional violations. SCOTUS directs the four state legislatures to determine their electors in accordance with the constitution. The four states then decided to allocate electors in accordance with the unconstitutional election results. And...Biden wins.
Keep in mind, the legislators in those four states are also scared of the repercussions from BLM and ANTIFA black-shirt goons. The Heckler's Veto is still in effect.
Bingo! If I'm not mistaken the legislators for four states in question are controlled by Republicans. As to legislators being scared to act lawfully due to an unruly mob, well, if true the country certainly has more problems than a disputed election and it won't be long before the People respond accordingly.
If they make decisions based on fear of the leftists reaction, then the only answer is to make them fear us more.If I'm not mistaken the legislators for four states in question are controlled by Republicans. I have no doubt that we are capable of far more terror than the left. Lets just hope it never comes to that. It won't just be a few 7-11s burning if it does....
Was not discussing that issue, just giving a reason why I could not elaborate on my thoughts and ideas.
If you pay any attention there are some parallels from 1860 and 2020 both in the presidential election and the country's diverging irreconcilable differences.

Rush Limbaugh Suggests Conservative States Are ‘Trending Toward Secession’
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday that “there cannot be peaceful coexistence” between liberals and conservatives and right-leaning states are “trending toward secession.”Asked about the chances that Republicans could win major national elections without the need for “taking...www.yahoo.com

What are you showing here? Just the filing? Also, didn't the states have until tonight to respond? 9:00 IIRC?
