The government is still alive and tickling. They'll use their police and Guard units to quell the insurrection.
""tickling."" Who?
The government is still alive and tickling. They'll use their police and Guard units to quell the insurrection.
That's why they rob tourists and prostitutes. Love has nothing to do with it. He has less to lose.
An American police officer has more to lose than a Vietnamese police officer. That's fact. It isn't relativity when they don't own their own homes and their daughters aren't going to school but rather working at a gogo bar fucking foreigners.Cost of living is relative. That argument makes no sense.
Ticking.""tickling."" Who?
Such a dumb materialistic argument. A police officer in Vietnam has just as much to lose even though they may not have all the material crap we in the states over emphasize and take for granted. An American police officer has more to lose than a Vietnamese police officer. That's fact. It isn't relativity when they don't own their own homes and their daughters aren't going to school but rather working at a gogo bar fucking foreigners.
I've seen that with my own eyes.
That's why they rob tourists and prostitutes. Love has nothing to do with it. He has less to lose.
No they don't. They live impoverished. They hustle just to eat. Our police officer doesn't have to hustle to eat.Such a dumb materialistic argument. A police officer in Vietnam has just as much to lose even though they may not have all the material crap we in the states over emphasize and take for granted.
They aren't too poor to have families and people they care about. Stop thinking about material crap. Real life isn't based on currency exchange rates. No they don't. They live impoverished. They hustle just to eat. Our police officer doesn't have to hustle to eat.
Go to Mexico and you'll see police officers robbing tourists with bogus crimes to extort them.
True story. I was robbed by a Mexican police officer in Tijuana who said I needed to pay him a fine for urinating in the street when I didn't. He wanted 20 bucks. I had to give it to him. He doesn't make 20 bucks a day.
Greedy ones. But they don't have to do it to survive.Cops here don't do that?
I'd think not. No fucking way.NYPD only starts at $42000, is that enough to survive in the city?
You aren't getting the point. The point is that we have more to lose than they do. It isn't just materialistic. They aren't too poor to have families and people they care about. Stop thinking about material crap. Real life isn't based on currency exchange rates.
Yep. In the outerboroughs it is.NYPD only starts at $42000, is that enough to survive in the city?
I see your point, but as I said before it's relative. Someone in Vietnam has no idea what it's like to be living in America. What they have is as precious to them as what we have is to us. Even if they don't compare on a value scale. You aren't getting the point. The point is that we have more to lose than they do. It isn't just materialistic.
Forget about police. Do you think you have as much to lose as someone else in Vietnam? Do you think you'd risk getting yourself killed when your belly is full compared to someone in a third world country that has nothing?
Do you think your neighbor would risk everything killing cops and soldiers compared to someone who lives in a village that has nothing?
You are being disingenuous is you say yes.
The things you own, end up owning you.Sometimes having nothing is a good enough reason to fight . Sometimes you have to much to protect, It all depends on how you look at it.
Right. What they have, they have. But that isn't the point.I see your point, but as I said before it's relative. Someone in Vietnam has no idea what it's like to be living in America. What they have is as precious to them as what we have is to us. Even if they don't compare on a value scale.
That Vietnamese farmer may have more to lose and not fight than you do.The Vietnamese farmer whos family has been living on their own land for centuries, farming and raising chickens, growing rice , Raising kids Is actually very happy with his life even though he may not have jack squat for a pension or a nice 4 bedroom house but ask him he if he would trade it all for that.
Men like that fought and died for the little they had . It was motivation enough for them to take up arms against a superpower.
Right.
Who do you think is more than likely to storm the government now? You who is well off or a poor dude in the South who's a day laborer who's struggling to make ends meet?
You both live with a roof over your heads and you both eat food and love your wives.
That Vietnamese farmer may have more to lose and not fight than you do.
Exactly. Apples to Oranges. That's what I'm saying. Glad you got it.It's almost as if you are saying that because they aren't American and don't make what we make or possess what we possess, their lives and everything important to them mean nothing. You are comparing 3rd world to 1st world. Apples to oranges.
Not all. You are saying all did. That's true, but then again, they did fight .
Well yes, when you put it that way, you have me there. I would posit though, that it would still be relative to what is being valued and what said persons awareness of value is.Right. What they have, they have. But that isn't the point.
But let's look here. I'm more than likely to take up arms than Derek Jeter would. Why? I have less to lose. I'm being affected directly. He isn't.
Who do you think is more than likely to storm the government now? You who is well off or a poor dude in the South who's a day laborer who's struggling to make ends meet?
You both live with a roof over your heads and you both eat food and love your wives.
Umm yes!I guess it all depends on what is really important to the individual!?
