I disagree. After 40 year old Call of Duty YouTube Nick that always talked about them coming and taking it if they dare sees grey bearded Joe and his merry band of 4 get gunned down, he will sit back down and hide his shit in his closet and say that he is doing his part by not complying.
There aren’t too many people that have no family with nothing to lose.
I’ll use myself as an example because I say the truth and do not care what anyone thinks of me. I love my family. But if all I ever see is unplanned, amateur suicide missions that produce no results, I sure as hell ain’t going to join myself to that cause so that my family suffers now.
But if instead I saw an organized outfit that took down police communications towers, created roadblocks to prevent response, stormed politicians homes, etc, and actually saw results, I would want to stand with them. But I know that will never happen. Most people are ignorant and think they’ll be fighting politicians and ANTIFA on the battlefield. They are too ignorant to see that it’s those that enforce the law that are the enemy because without them, politicians are empty suits and to get to politicians, law enforcement around them have to go down.
Most people are too ignorant to see what it actually takes. They just keep saying one day and I will stand. But they do not really know who they will stand up to. They have this fantasy in their heads that the police will stand with us and face politicians wearing uniforms in the battlefield.

You may not want to get dragged into it, but what are you going to do if they start rounding up everyone who posted some dissatisfaction with the government on a pro gun internet board in the last 20 years ?
They might not leave you a choice. Then you'll have to decide if you're going to go quietly when they come for you, or hunt down the ones responsible first.

When left with no choice of course. But we are talking about Virginia here. And as far as not killing cops that are trying to kill you for killing a politician, that’s far fetched. You have to if you want to get away and then you have to go into hiding and kill the ones that find you. There is no getting away by yourself and going home to dinner afterwards . Impossible unless you have a director that’ll yell out “Cut!” after that shot.
Ideally if the grey beard was smart, while he took that 1500 yard shot, he would have an army of others blocking roads and simultaneously, disabling police cars and repeater towers.
But this is all far fetched. You know it and I know it. What will happen is protests, letters, money to the NRA, and the purchase of compliant items for public use like hunting when the police that said that they will not enforce start enforcing because their hands are tied while they say to themselves that they are resisting for hiding their illegal shit.
If there are a few rogue grey bearded dudes that do pull a trigger it will be an amateur affair and then some YouTube video will pop up where the author says that the people are not having it and it will get worse if they push harder. It’s all BS.

The other states in the union are at the brink of having waited too long already. They've allowed other states to shit on the second and first amendments, and didn't band together to do jack shit about it. They ignored violations in other states, and just assumed the people of this state want this horse shit.
The only difference is, the lack of shits they gave about NY and CA are coming home to roost in their backyards.

My BIL and I are leaving for Richmond on the 19th around 8 pm.
We should arrive in Richmond on the 20th around 6 - 7 am.
I'm meeting up in the Richmond area with a couple of my family members from South Carolina.
2 of their friends are going to be with them.
That's 6 of us at this point... We will have each others back if things get squirrely.
19 more days... I am looking forward to this.

I wish I could make the trip again for the rally. The damn deep state are making funds tight with their debt system. My $5k debt has risen to $6k due to the slow down of winter work. I will actually be just north of Richmond in Ashland. The misses and I will be down to drop off her son at the "halfway" point to her ex. Because of DC traffic on I95 it takes us roughly 10hrs down and 10 back. With all that driving I don't even like to stop for a piss break. "Honey, I gotta pee ....."
Make sure you have dashcams that automatically upload the video to a secure server.
If you come upon a .gov roadblock, have someone in the vehicle on the phone with friends/family who are recording the call and leave the phone somewhere it won't be easily noticed.

honestly, I don't think they (.gov) can turn off the internet. There are far to many people that rely on the internet and their phone as the only means of communication, if there is a medical or fire emergency while 'they' are dong there searches, will the state be responsible if someone dies?

Over time, things changed.
It is inevitable that, sooner or later, people being people, tempers will flare, and there will be clashes with the police and eventually likely the National Guard, somewhere.
I remember a place called Alabama, and a man called Governor Wallace, using the National Guard to prevent school integration, and the President then ordering the National Guard to prevent interference of those children attending school.
Wonder if the Governor of any State in the Union would use the National Guard to enforce unconstitutional law(s) at gun point.
I wonder further what would happen if President Trump pulled the plug, and ordered the National Guard to stand down, and left that Governor and his cronies standing alone, in the cold.

First, a rhetorical question about your statement above - How exactly has doing nothing slowed down or stopped the Maoists from slowly, and now more rapidly and wantonly, eroding ALL of the BOR and Constitution?
Secondly, preventing UNarmed and law abiding people from NY or SC attending a protest in VA, except in the case of a Federally declared order of martial law, is clearly unconstitutional, violating more amendments of the BOR/Constitution than you can count.
Thirdly, if these laws pass, and are enforced literally at gunpoint, it is taking VA from a fairly free 2A state to a functional equivalent of NY NJ or CA in one fell swoop. The latter states are already gone, and will never go back the other way.
Lastly, looking at the bigger picture...yes Bloomturd and his useful idiots funded this coup (and yes, it is one), but how and why? IMHO, it is due to the invasion of VA by Deep State apparatchiks (AKA unelected bureaucrats left in place by the Clinton and Obola regimes) and the proximity to the Deep State hive...the District of Cockeaters. MD has already gone to the "dark side", if VA goes full unconstitutional retard, a huge, de facto disarmed buffer zone exists around DC.
This is being done purposefully for a lot of reasons - the prime reason is consolidation of power, with a secondary reason of disarming, both physically and mentally, the populace of VA specifically, and other "free" states secondarily by making an example of VA.
But WHY cause such a huge shitstorm? The fallout from this, regardless of how it goes will be huge. And it will go "their" way. The "state", for want of a better word...not Trump or others like Nunes, Gohmert, Scalise and others...is prepping the battle space for a future "dirty war" using 4GW tactics.
If this protest is large and completely problem free it will be amazing. The leftists will make sure something happens, so their media buttboys can scream Nazi and racist, or whatever. The left will not waste this opportunity to further divide and kow the country.
I don't have a clue what's "real" anymore because the disinformation is getting deep.

If you call it a 2A checkpoint your right .But if you call it a seatbelt check, or DUI checkpoint or something else its perfectly legal.
A search of any car would still require probable cause , which wont be that hard to get if the laws pass beforehand . My guess would be that the purpose of the roadblocks if they choose to do it would be to stop people from attending the rally by backing up traffic for miles , not so much arresting people .
