If that is what happened then I have been duped. Not all news reports are true. Not following this too closely, as I have bigger fish to fry. My sentiment remains the same, in the face of what seems to be hopeless odds I can hope US citizens would that brave.

Hypothetically, if the Russians were here I'd just wait until the time was right and ambush shoot them dead with other like minded Americans. Direct verbal confrontation isn't going to deter an invading army.
I have to agree they are not swayed by this type of display. I think a majority of Americans would shrink away from them though. However 1/3 of the population being armed with at least one gun would make such displays unnecessary.

To be quite honest, while I don’t trust our media, I trust the Russian media even less.
They weren't just shown on Russian news broadcasts. They were mentioned in the official military press briefing. What would be gained for Russian military briefer to lie on something that has no importance. I am sure we will hear more about it after our media gets more invested into this story.
