Everything was fine up until the gun dealer called the cops. Of course he could have bought it, or just told her to continue on. He's not bound to do anything in this situation. He chose to.

Even is there was a cop in the store at the front door working security, the FFL has no obligations to enforce laws by calling the police.

It's no different then when they catch a shoplifter and let him go with a stern warning to never come back rather than call the cops and lose business.

Thats where my initial thought was. And before grabbing my torch and pitchfork I wanted to know a little more (even if it looks real bad for them).

A sting operation is designed to catch the person being investigated in the act of committing a crime. Since FFL's are not LEO's and are under no obligations to enforce laws, why would he think it was a sting?

The douchebag employee who thinks that he's an agent of law enforcement and made the call. I've seen that mentality in action there and I've never been back. Assholes! Yeah, nice store, but I can get my shit elsewhere without the hooty tooty attitude! I get my ammo sent to my door and my last two purchases were by GB and used a local FFL. I have visited many a GS in and around NY. But when I seen the imbeciles there in action, I walked out and never looked back. Just my opinion, that's all. You can only stop where it's legal to possess. So even though it is an FFL, it's still in NY.

Negative you can stop for food, gas resources ect. selling you property to get resources sounds legit to me, She went to an FFL, there is no federal law preventing the sale to an FFL in person

The only papers a NY FFL is required to have is a Drivers Liscense.

... The states argument will be the permit to posses, this has some great legal potential, pump the tv coverage and get some federal laws rolling.

If i where Trump and they are indeed her guns she'd have a pardon ASAP, make Primary Pay for a full tank and the police escort all the way to the free states.

Well, if she took the gun out of her car and into the gun store, she's not following FOPA guidelines on transporting. So, she wouldn't be covered by the law, and therefore broke NYS law because she was in possession of a pistol without a license.
