You.Stop it.
Hey. I'm not the one saying .177 BB's are self defense rounds.You.

Unless you shoot 2 bodies under the same conditions with both a hollow point and a solid bullet in the same place,, you don't have real life experience.
Not massive. Just sufficient penetration striking vitals. No one did....
You are on this, the only way to kill or stop a bad guy is with massive penetration, I beg to differ. BB's and Pellets do not penetrate all that much.
That's not what you said in your original post.I know that the FMJ's issued to me in the Army did a very piss poor job at completing their intended use!
When I worked for the Military, I used FMJ. That is what they told us to use. I worked. That ammo did what it was meant too do. It killed.

You weren't issued a rifle? You used an M9 as a primary? Hardly anyone actually fires an M9 on combat. Hmmmm...
With a rifle. Handguns suck. Who the hell uses handguns going door to door in the military?I had a rifle, absolutely. I also had an M9. I take it you have never walked streets or broke down doors. Never been up close and personal?
They functioned fine in all my 9mm's also. Not so with the buffalo bore!Update. The Underwood 115 Gr +P's cycled and were accurate in both my Glock 26 and Lone Wolf G9 carbine for anyone interested if the unconventional bullet shape affects reliability.
