Actually, I just didn't follow all of them. Someone wanted me to put a heater on the heater, someone had a sweet custom console w/ a beautiful AR in it, and there's some lone ranger going all over the US, pissing in the eye of local officials and carrying wherever he wants, cuz 'Merica.

I still want something, but for now I'll use my bag. The AlienGear holster holster (I guess that's what I'd call it) intrigues me. Just straight up mounting a holster to the inside works too, but I like the idea of the lockbox too. Find a way to secure it to the vehicle, much like the cable lock under the seat, and I've got a solid deal.

Something like this is all you need IMHO. Costs less than the ammo in the magazines in it.

I appreciate both sides, it's always good to hear what's the other side like. I have no problem with Meke either, he's right. Leaving a gun in a vehicle is definitely dangerous, and I would surmise only for people who really have a good system, or good habits. Still, shit happens, I realize that.

I just want to carry at work w/out really doing it. It sticks out when I sit down, since I tuck all my shirts in, and skinny guy carry is about 50lbs off, ha.

I had the 300 series but it wasn't fat enough for my dbl stack 45 so i got this one

I almost got an under-seat safe with the cable until I got the backpack now. Now, I'm either carrying or have the bag with me at all times.

Because I am currently in school I am forced to leave my gun in the car a lot of times throughout the week and reholster when leaving school. For this reason I needed something quick and convenient to store my weapon in a discrete location. I ended up purchasing the Liberty Safe HD-100 which is quick touch combination operated with a key for backup and is assisted opening by a piston. I tuck it under my seat with the cable wrapped in a way that would be difficult to get it undone without bolt cutters. Though not a perfect solution its the best I can do with the setup of my vehicle and it has served me well for over a year with daily use and no battery changes.

I still may do something like that, at least until I can be sure that if I did have a safe in the vehicle, it wouldn't be easy to see.

My brother just bought a 2017 Dodge Journey, and under the driver side passenger foot space, there's a storage box. I know some companies make conversion doors for those, but I really like that idea. If I had one of those, I'd feel much better.

For now, the bag works, but I'm always looking. Plus, at least I have my pistol pretty much by my side here at work and nobody is any the wiser.
