So, my card was received today @ 4:02 pm.

For all in the future, here are the specifics;

Application given to the clerk September 24th, 2021 @ 2:37 pm.

References were contacted 194 days later, Thursday, April 7th, 2022 @ 10:37 AM, or 194 days, 20 hours and zero minutes.

Letter of Approval recieved 270 days from application date, June 21st, 2022 @ 5:21 pm, or 270 days, 2 hours and 44 minutes after application.

Actual permit received in mail Thursday, July 21st, 2022 @ 4:02 PM.
Total time from application to card received-
300 days, 1 hour, 25 minutes.

So, 42 weeks, rounded down or just over 82% of a common year.

Been a long road. Hope this helps someone in the future calculate thier projected date to receive a suburban pistol permit in Monroe County.

It's over boys, finally. Time to go shooting.

I believe so. I've never encountered a permit holder in Monroe who has restrictions

First firearm purchased. After renting handguns from the firing pin ( an HKVP9SK and a walther PDP-C), with the HKVP9SK being the one I wanted for over a year, I decided on one..

The Walter PDP-C. Shot it way better.

Went the following day , Sunday, hunting for it. Found the only one available on Sunday between Rochester and Batavia at Runnings of Brockport. Paid in full. Now awaiting the amendment to pick it up. Another thread begins, Monroe County pistol permit amendment time via mail.

Let's see how long this takes.

I'm curious to hear how long doing it via mail takes because I was going to try amending via mail, but I was able to purchase a CZ online, have it shipped to my FFL, and be at the range shooting it in under a week by snagging an amendment appointment cancellation that opened up.

Yes and no. Yes I tried it out at TFP before I bought it. Did a side by side against an HKVP9SK, the one I originally wanted but the Walther on thier just felt better. No in that I found a smoking deal at Runnings in Brockport I couldn't pass up ( nearly 150 off other retailers price) so I purchased it there.
