@Celt I spoke to him tonight at thanksgiving, I asked why can't you do an executive action for an amendment time or the process of how it's almost impossible for a full carry and also about the home inspection stuff. He is furious about any home inspection rules himself and his exact words were "who the fuck are they to think they have the right to come in my house and tell me how and where I should be storing my firearms". BUT the problems with all of these issues he said, are the Judges and only the Judges. He said he already made changes to the application process which he said was ridiculous and mind boggling and had it streamlined as much as he could. He can't do anything to change the way the Judges make their decisions or how long they sit on paperwork. He mentioned that 3 of them are in Westchester for the pistol process and that the amount of applications is hugely back logged, and he knows this..He ordered 3 more officials to get through the backlog but the problem still wholy lies with the laziness of the Judge, 1 (who is a Democrat) is a good 2A Judge Rob said..and the other Two are complete douchebags and purposely don't make the process easy or quicker because they can care less about the 2nd Amendment. So in summary, you guys are still sorta screwed unfortunately, but anything he said that gets sent to him having a negative factor on firearms will be vetoed 1st time through he said. Now, he has gotten back through fighting with Dems and liberal fools the OK for Gun shows to begin again throughout the County starting 1/1/2017, so that's kinda a plus in the battle at least. Also he said he's definitely running again which also is a plus for us. I mentioned to him that "this time around you should have much more help from our "gun community" as for past few years on these 2 or 3 forums I saw people not know you to people that now do and last time many of my forum friends and Internet people didn't really know who you are and didn't really know that you're not a scumbag politician. So you should have a bunch more people backing and voting, along with everything being Republican and being on a 1st name basis with Trump, it may really be our time for all us gun owners". He thanks all of us that helped last time with signs and kind words and the vote..so all we got to do is more then that this tims..(O yeah, and secede and detach from NYC lol) but honestly, Bloomberg and Cuomos day are numbered and old news..Cuomo will be disgraced as he already is and Preet is creeping in, and Bloomberg is definitely not fighting the battle as he did in the past..

Tog, ive applied twice, been denied twice. Im a NRA certified pistol instructor (not worth all that much, but its a credible cert) NRA RSO, and a handful of verts from other training classes.

I was denied because i didnt meet the "good cause" requirement. Lame ass, anti 2a liberal wastechester judges.

But with the holiday season around i may have to consider the mall a new hiking trail.

Rob told me the 3 Judges names and the one that was great..but I don't remember the name I wish I could have chimed in with a constructive helpful post instead this one..but meh, a couple bottles of wine and family and kids, I forgot. He didn't "ignore" anything. He explained what I wrote. It's all to do with the Judges decisions. His "executive action power" is not as a Presidential one or what people expect the magic that could be any our desires with the stroke of a pen. Westchester is extremely Democrat as the State is, and he's like the black swan..luck enough to get anything positive 2A in that County, he's obviously well listened to and liked being the one Republican swimming with all Democrats..

I think with a little legal lingo we may be able to start getting the full carry. I felt confident with the paper work I had the first time but settled for the sportsperson.

Damn right. His word isn't automatically law.

Therefore his "restrictions" have nothing to do with law.

My prediction: We fart around with this "restriction" nonsense for a few more years or so, and then people realize they've been had, and realize the government work for the people, not the other way around.

J Emitt Murphy WILL give you full carry....... depending.......I know 3 people who got it recently. They're not cops, prison guards or special people.
Many from the old Ardsley range know this. JEM was a member there.
He's the only hope in Westchester.

Wow, I had no idea - he looks closer to 70 than 80, and I consider myself being able to estimate the age of the elderly based on a bunch of factors. Looked him up, he got his BA in 1963 and his JD in 1966, 40 years ago. In my head if he went direct from high school to college to law school that would make him closer to 70 than 80, maybe even closer to 65 than 70. I've run into him a couple of times at different ranges and shoots, hanging out with one of his Vietnam vet buds - nice fellow, did not know he was a judge when we shot the shit the 1st couple of times but saw how people were deferential to him.

Under most circumstances the judical process frowns on judge fishing - it happens, especially when it comes to hearings and trials...and they try to give the appearance it does not, and in those cases try to minimize this from happening.

Murphy is highly approachable and very friendly. He's the only friend we have in Wastechester in the PP maze. Hope you can get to him before he retires.
He doesn't sign off on everyone, unfortunately.

Can't wait to apply to get restrictions removed. I've written my "good cause" letter. When I'm denied, the civil suit against the county is guaranteed. Remember: The right to keep and bear arms is not in the New York constitution....it is in the civil rights code. So, I'll be suing for putative damages from depriving me of my civil rights.

Gotta attack the Left from the Left. Use their arguments and rhetoric against them. Will it work? I don't know. But it's almost time for me to start fighting the good fight.

There is none, and ive been goigling that exact thing since my last post.

But, your best bet is to have documented, and verifiable threats against you. Meaning, police reports, orders of protection, etc.. and then id imagine every 5 years you would have to prove that again.
