Not necessarily. I read it more as a need to protect yourself if you are involved in a job or activities that would attract crime or a threat. The guys I know that have full carry all have cash businesses or have a business that has a likelihood of being robbed. Other than that being connected or being ex Leo.

On a serious note, I know one person who had legitimate and published threats against their person who got their permit upgraded from BUSINESS PREMISE to full carry. Guy lives in CT, has a store in WC.


Phazer, what ever you do for a living, you need to switch it up so you are rubbing shoulders with a few judges and politicians (not saying you're a masseuse!!).

I beleive you agree to follow the hand book so is it law maybe not criminal aside from the laws sighted, but rest assured they can pull your permit, a crime doesn't need to occur, and you will have to fight to get it back. as for sportsmen, your restriction allows you to carry while doing the activity, not traveling to and from. If it was 2 and from there wouldn't be transport guidelines, you can argue that you have a carry permit, but you won't win you'll be found carrying outside of your restriction, arrested, once again you won't be found criminally liable but they will pull the permit and it will cost you too prove you did nothing wrong.

related activities of Target Shooting, Hunting, Hiking, Camping and Fishing necessitating the carrying of a firearm.
