The company is Idaho, the RMS sight is a British product. It's pretty neat red dot, I can see myself trying out in the future.

I got my eye on the Remington 700 XCR Compact Tactical with a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40 as a rifle build, as soon as I finish saving up the funds.

Well, I have my sights set on at least a few guns right now. I have bids on one in an online auction and bids on three others in the online bidding portion of what will ultimately wind up as a live auction - the Hessney Rod & Gun Auction of August 12th. Not about to say which ones have received bids from me until the auctions are over. I will say at least two would require me to start buying ammo in yet other calibers than those I already have at hand; of course, that is should I have the high bid on either of those two guns.

Wow, I didn't see this one coming - was thinking Shockwave or Xd-E or the red dot on the G43 - but a Mini Thirty, yeah, that's the ticket. Money spent! Had a Shockwave on hold, but the dealer still was worried about selling it because of the Snake Act, and I had a chance to hold an XD-E, felt kind of weird, not really like my "old" XD-S. But that Mini came up for sale . . .
