Hell yea. I just recommended one to my buddy the other day. He carries his Glock 41 while hunting but really is rightfully freaked out about holstering a Glock in his junky nylon holster. I got him to buy a good Kydex holster and this gadget. When his holster comes in, I'm going over to install the backplate and show him how to properly holster and draw the thing so he can carry with one in the chamber instead of with an empty chamber like he's been doing for years now.

It's pretty nice. Lighter and more comfy than the regular Classic. It'll probably be my carry most of the time. I took it to the range and it performed very well, I can shoot it as well as the big P320 red dot gun. I have to drift the front sight though, hits a bit left.

How does that holster system work in the summer? I assume it has to be worn over a t shirt and requires a cover garment like a jacket or button down shirt
I just got it actually, lol. I plan on carrying over a T shirt and under a collared button shirt which is my typical daily attire. I have carried my Glock 19 this way in the original Miami Classic extensively but it does print. The Shield in the Lite does not print at all. It looks to be a super lo-pro carry method. Reaching up to a high shelf in the store, using public restrooms, climbing up and down trucks and trailers, all activities during which a good shoulder holster will keep your gun under cover.
Sonofabitch! I've been looking at that rig for a while. I've got at least five Galcos and love them all. Had a couple of the Miami Classics and they were very comfy but printed too much with my clothes at the time. But this looks thinner through the shoulder straps. Bet the holster holds Glock 43, Sig 365, Springfield XD-S and maybe a couple more . . .
Still gotta give the classic some love.

A bit of a suprise for me today, the g19 carries just as well as the J frame I was going to carry. The magazines in each of the vest pockets print the most in my eyes.

Just got my permission slip to pick up my new S&W 642. Took it to the range and was very happy with it, for the most part. It's super-light (17 oz, loaded), small enough for a pocket or to disappear into a waistbad, and seems to be very mechanically accurate when I do my part. The stupidly bad sights were keeping me from doing my part, however.
I can't leave a gun alone. I don't plan to do much to this one at all, but I hate the gray-on-gray, gutter sights. Thankfully, my wife has a lot of nail polish. Some orange on the front ramp, a little white on the rear notch, and some black on the gutter... they're no night sights, but they're at least sights at all now.

EDC is a stock Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9MM. Dead nuts accurate. No upgrades necessary. Too many holsters to list, I have a problem and need to start selling a few of them, but summer carry has been mostly IWB in a Remora holster.

Warm weather carry is a Glock 43x in T1C appendix rig with sidecar. Cold weather carry is a CZ 75D PCR in a black arch Revcon with or without the Phlster Enigma.
So I haven't changed my EDC because well no reason to.
But I did get a new holster. Dark Star Gear Rigel. Paired with their Koala mag carrier....

So, you waiting to see Cloud Defensive's pistol light before you go with Modlite?
Both yes and I saw a fair amount of issues with the initial (and possibly still) runs of the PL350. For as long as it took to be released sadly Cory didn't let his product live up to the hype and failed on a few key parts, mainly the switches..
With that being said based on what the Cloud Defensive EPL-D stats are and size.. well it just blows the PL350 out of the water.. shit the EPL-D output is better than most rifle lights on the market.
Also for anyone interested.. here is a teaser of both the EPL-D and EPL-C (Enhanced Pistol Light Duty/Carry) from Cloud Defensive.
They are still working on their switches.
Proposed output from each is as follows
Duty - 1,100 lumens and 65,000 candela
Carry - 1,100 lumens and 35,000 candela
Both run off a single rechargeable 18350 battery

I am also a huge fan of DCC, which I believe this monoblock may be or atleast a copy of. And when playing around with the new holster I noticed I sometimes get my shirt stick on the clip during the draw

Also I've always been a huge fan of the soft loops.. they take a bit longer to put on when getting dressed but I also believe they are one of the most secure mounting options and while a pain to take off that's actually a positive to me..
..

Since I will be carrying my 43X MOS (when Ulster county graces me with a phone call) appendix the soft loops stick out further making it a bit less concealable. I should be getting delivery of my JM Custom Kydex holster today that has 2 offset DCC's to spread the leverage for more stability as well as a slimmer profile. Ordered black.
Also received a Tenicor Certum3.
I will keep the one that carries the best and return the other one.

I love JMC holsters. It's what I used with my P07
So it looks like they are a fair bit shorter than the PL350?
