I like it cold when I'm snowboarding, about 65 and partly sunny when I have work to do outside, 72 and partly cloudy when mountain biking, and hot when on my boat or swimming.
The robber REALLY WAS about to turn his life around!

At least we're all a lot safer now. Just this morning I heard two gang members talking about how they were going to recertify their stolen Glocks when they get out of work today.
Today I keep hearing things about Congress 'honoring' those who died in the 'January 6th Attack'. I was curious about it and looked it up. The actual info is a lot different than what they are portraying. It's important that you read everything I pasted from the article below.

If the FDA and USDA inspections worked properly, food wouldn't be recalled after customers got sick from eating spinach or hamburger. Nor would endless recalls occur for blood pressure medications containing carcinogens.
Everyone should 'slam' NJ's new law!

"A small Iowa town of 800 residents likely has no need for a police force armed with 90 machine guns to keep the peace."
Uh, NO town or city has a need for any machine guns. I heard once that 'assault weapons' were designed to kill as many people as possible.
I've been thinking of replacing mine as my paper permit is falling apart. With the new permit, are you expected to keep a list of your handguns with you?
I see articles that they are making schools with the 'Warriors' mascot change their name.
But... Everyday I see a NYSDOT billboard next to I-81 that says 'be a road warrior' (trying to get people to be plow drivers). Isn't that insensitive to native Americans?
I find the AG's address to be quite ironic. From the footer of the letter:
28 LIBERTY STREET, NEW YORK, NY 10005 ● PHONE (212) 416-8446 ● WWW.AG.NY.GOV
There must be some sort of rule that will keep your new gun from going rogue in the next five years. I would think it would be dangerous to not have it listed in the state's DB that whole time...
'One of the long rifles was found partially disassembled, but fit the definition of an assault weapon once reassembled.'

"On Wednesday a third of the entire population of the United States were advised to stay indoors due to record temperatures."
Where's this? The last few days it's been struggling to get to 70 deg here. It was 40 deg when I went to work a couple of days ago.
“The piles of used whippits in our communities are not only an eye sore but also indicative of a significant nitrous oxide abuse problem."
In my experience, there are so many 'whippits' littering parking lots, it's hard see the covid masks all over the place.... What the hell does a whippit...
I think anyone who has a crappy semi-auto .22 with detachable mag should run a die down the end of the barrel so it can 'accommodate' a flash suppressor, muzzle brake, or muzzle compensator, and turn it in.
Bam! $300 'assault rifle' gift card. Unless of course, that wooden stock nullifies the...
"According to East Fishkill Police Chief Chris Bellino, a man called Dutchess County 911 indicating that he was armed and wanted to harm himself."
That means he didn't want to commit suicide. He could do that without calling 911.
I'll have to contact Schumer. Here's a few lines from his last response when I contacted him:
" Thank you for contacting me regarding gun control legislation. Like you, I believe the right to bear arms is guaranteed by the Constitution’s Second Amendment.
While I respect the Second...
"Former Gov. Cuomo says a quicker fix is to enact a federal ban on assault weapons."
He bought the gun legally in NY, where 'assault weapons' are illegal...
Fire apparatus are running constantly from the time they leave the station to the time they get back. They never get turned off. My guess is that 'extender' will run the same way.
If permits to carry are no longer needed, my prediction will be NO significant increase in 'gun violence', but a VERY significant increase on news reports. For anyone not really paying attention to numbers, it will look like things have gotten much worse.
California's own data shows 2020 wasn't anywhere near 81%
https://www.energy.ca.gov/data-reports/energy-almanac/california-electricity-data/2020-total-system-electric-generation
Just a reminder: Last week, 47% of Broome County customers had no electricity for several days because of a storm. Every house with a wood stove still had heat.
