Read the PA circuit Court ruling and tell me they've been even trying to bring any "facts" to court.
I believe the phrase was something along the lines of "you need to have both allegations, and evidence to support them. Here we have NEITHER."
I've been pretty consistent throughout
Thought they were shitty when Obama used them. Thought they were shitty when Trump used them.
Nothing incoherent in my position on this issue.
Because the case was predicated on bullshit, perhaps?
You honestly want one state (say, California or New York) to be able to disenfranchise voters in another state (say, Texas or Utah)?
Show me the constitutional mechanism under which thats even remotely plausible let alone legal.
For #1 I am referring to the fact that they have not once brought a claim to court that would have materially affected the outcome of the election if the claim were true.
This is an objective fact, not an opinion.
At least some of, if not all of the following, are true.
1. They make accusations that they refuse to provide proof for and refuse to bring those claims to court as they know there are repercussions for lying to a judge under oath.
2. The cases they do bring and provide evidence for would...
IIRC after Hurricane Sandy, NJ passed a law requiring gas stations to have back up power. I recall it was quite a sight and a wake up call for me to see stations that had full reserve tanks- that couldn't get fuel out to customers because the pumps had no power.
That's not really relevant here even if I agree with your sentiment in principle.
Break the law? Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Some other jackass got off? That sucks. Doesn't mean we should let other people get away with it.
And check local noise ordinances too.
Nothing in my town code says the word "firearm" but I'm pretty sure shooting after 8:00 PM is frowned upon, lights or no lights.
I've worked in litigation for 20+ years.
Its painfully obvious these people have no meaningful evidence or they would have presented it to the courts. Thats kind of how it works.
What does one have to do with the other?
Trump and his people have filed what, 38 cases in various jurisdictions, pretty much all of which have been tossed because they either failed to make a claim, or failed to prove their claim, or both- or the parties bringing the cases didn't have a leg to...
They refused the case because the case is a mess. Because TX is wrong to file it. It is pretty sickingly obvious to me that AG Paxton is shopping for a pardon.
I mean did you read the case? Its a monstrous pile of dog crap from what I've read (not all of it).
"Constitutionally, factually, and legally wrong" (I believe it was the GA Attorney General who said this).
About sums it up.
Hail Mary toss came up about 40 yards short.
Skipping the other three pages of the thread so if I missed something too bad but wanted to respond.
He directed them to classify bump stocks as machine guns, via an Executive Memorandum (which is somewhat like an Executive Order). Don't have time / space to get the text of it but it is out...
Once again it is not on me to prove a negative.
You have actual evidence you're willing to face in court perjury charges, sanctions, and possible disbarment over? No one needs to go to court to have Biden win.
If YOU make a claim it is on YOU to prove it.
How many of these court cases have they... won?
Zero.
Why?
Because when presented the opportunity to present their evidence, they either have none, or they have such a bad case they get thrown out. Or they present amazingly watered down claims because... they have no evidence for any of the...
The continued debunked conspiracy mongering with total absence of proof is just getting old and pathetic and makes me sad.
And no, its not on me to prove the absence of a massive conspiracy. I dont have to prove a negative. Show me this fucking radiant kraken or get off the stage and stop...
Are you fucking kidding me with the martial law bullshit?
Everyone still on board the Trump train is starting to look like a woman who refuses to get out of an abusive relationship. Makes me sad to see.
I am wondering how far that haemoraggic (sp) disease has spread.
I am starting to see a few deer come back here and there but nothing i am willing to shoot. I'm glad my freezer is already otherwise full and I dont "have to" take a deer but I should would like to.
