Castle Doctrine only removes one of the five elements of a legal defense of self defense, that element is the duty to retreat.
Castle Doctrine doesn’t often cover defense of property, but can cover you if you are in your vehicle. I’m not 100% if vehicles are covered in NY.
I’m willing to give Springfield a chance but not at least for a year or two. Canik’s model is just a slightly modified TP9SF Elite so it should be pretty classic out of the box.
the 1.4” width is easy for me to conceal and not much different if you put an optic on any of these. If anything the...
So, with the recent announcement of the Springfield Hellcat, M&P Subcompacts, Canik’s TP9 Elite SC, and the P365 SAS, what are you excited for?
For me it’s the Canik TP9 Elite SC because I like my TP9SFx and TP9SF Elite.
Dutchess County Pistol Associate and Derek @ Civil Armory (in Pleasant Valley) are great resources. Derek got me hooked up tI go hunting this coming season. He also is one of the cheaper transfer fees and will price match if you ask nicely.
The Decocker is entirely modifiable. It’s just a 75 series sear cage. It’s a pain in the ass to put back together the first five times but that’s s out it.
Edit: Yes, unless you plan to SAO it.
I’ve got a CZ P-07 that is my carry gun. It’s a great gun, shoots great, trigger is good, the decocker is the omega variant so it’s much easier to modify/take down than the 75s.
The CZ P-01 or SP-01 Tactical might be up your ally if you’re straying from polymer. Both of these are the 75 series...
My wife and I have read the manifesto. He does not claim to be left or right-wing. He does not support Trump but likes the idea of Trump. He used guns specifically to generate discontent in the US knowing the media would latch on to them and bring more light to his cause.
The whole point of...
CZ P-10 Compact BLACK 9mm Pistol 4.02'' barrel (2) 15rd mags P-10C 91520 - Sale!
Cheapest I’ve seen one in a minute. Might be able to get their 10-rounder if you email them. They often work with their customers on stuff like that.
It does circumvent checks and balances which is a Constitution-scale issue. If he can do that, what can the next president do? Can they null-and-void the Second Amendment under the pretense of national security?
We’ve let the executive branch tip the balance of power for far too long. There...
Athlon is a well-known brand in the long-range optics community. They’re a sister company of a larger manufacturer whose name eludes me.
I’ve not gotten behind one, but the reviews and many long range shooting forums speak highly of them.
When you know what you want, post it here and tag me. I love finding a good deal. I recently bought a LaRue MBT-2S for $50. I’m slowly building my first AR so I’m slowly amassing big ticket parts for the cheapz.
My only “low budget” part is the NY Gun Forum lower but only because I can’t trace...
If you can vote like an adult, you can be tried as an adult, drink like an adult, apply for a credit card like an adult. If you think a 16 year old can successfully navigate these obstacles, then you go right ahead and let them vote. Hell, I worry about most 18 year olds.
Thats do-able if they consider a transfer-only or small sale quantity acceptable. I’m not looking for the business myself
I’m certain you can find something in my post history.
Those average gun owners probably never had the pleasure of a good holster or optic. Or they’re unfortunately not familiar with the quality difference between 9mm HST and the cheap hollow point.
I will agree 100% that their typical accessories are shit. Civil Armory (Pleasant Valley) keeps my business because Derek is a great guy and the rest of them helpful if you ask the right questions.
The shit they keep in stock though is fucking awful. I’d love them to have a few loose .223 Wylde...
There is a level of customer service I expect though. You give me a hard time and I won’t cone back. Those folks don’t make gun buying easy for a 1st time buyer and we need 1st time owners desperately.
That’s literally how John Wick holds his gun... a fictional character. This guy needs to be re-trained. His departments range officer/instructor must be mortified right now.
Online is cheaper as they can drop ship inventory to one another if they are associated with certain dealers/collectives. Also, if you’re the only guy in the area with a CZ 83 in .380ACP and someone wants it. That’s a sale even if you only profit $36.
The biggest issue for LGSs are they’re brick and mortar that have overhead, pay taxes and often can’t drop ship.
I frequently ask my LGS to match an online price or be within their transfer fee in difference. It’s how I got my 590A1. Sometimes they can, sometimes they can’t.
I also typically...
