What are the laws on 80% lowers in New York? I know no pistols. But rifles I've been told they are legal but they cant leave your property. This true?

I just went into a local gunshop asking about uppers and a random guy starting talking how adjustable stocks aren't legal. I said yes they are if the magazine is pinned. Along with a pistol grip. Are they actually legal and can you show proof?

So I can go ahead and order a foldable stock?

If i have a pinned magazine can I have a folding stock?

I was just told that if your ar15 is over 26 inches you can have any attachments you want on it. This true?

Can i have a 14 inch barrel with a 2 inch pinned and welded muzzle device so my rifle isn't so long? I found a nice muzzle device but it's 2 and 3/8 inches long and makes the barrel 18 inches long which I'm not a fan of. Thanks in advance.

Herkimer county is a 8 month wait. It's one of the faster county's to get a permit.

I've been waiting for my pistol permit going on 7 months on the 29th. From what I understand it's up to a 8 month wait in herkimer county. Is there a way I can find out what's going on?

Why does it take so long in your counties? In herkimer county my friends have gotten theirs in 4 to 6 months

My references were contacted 2 months after I handed in the paperwork.

Herkimer county. A few friends got theirs in 4 months. Other 8 months. I think herkimer county is up to 8 months.

I couldn't find any of thkse 10/32 mags. For the 5.56 they are everywhere. Not for the 9mm though

Never thought about having the ffl dealer do it.

One last question. I converted my second rifle to fire 9mm rounds. I can only buy 10rd mags and the tiny little mag looks dumb sticking out the magwell a quarter inch. Question is can I have someone send me a 32rd mag that are taken apart during shipping and i make them 10rd by making it permanent?

Do you have a screenshot of the law stating that? Guy I work with says you cant because it's not on the safe act website.

Can I have a pistol grip, adjustable stock and a muzzle device if the magazine is pinned? Was told yes by a few people but cant find the law.
