I agree on all points. I just don't want to screw myself by trying to change my address and then NYC says I have to wait a full year of residing in the city before I can apply. Meanwhile I'm stuck in gun-less limbo.

Does anyone know the procedure for changing a full carry issued by Westchester County to a NYC license if I change my address to NYC? Additionally, what about my rifles and shotguns? I know NYC is two different permits. Should I consult an attorney to make it a smoother process?

I got talked into buying a very expensive Steiner LPVO for one of my rifles. I really should learn how to use the thing to it's full potential. It's WAY above my skill set. Honestly, I'd love to unload it if I could get a fair price for it. Red dots do all I need.
I just can't fathom how the whole house of worship thing wasn't one of the very first things tossed, separation of church and state and all.. especially since relief was granted in a private business which are regulated by the state in nearly all circumstances.
It's a step in the right direction BUT I still can't carry in church, dropping my kids off at school, or anywhere in NYC. I hope these other restrictions get struck down as well.
While I am most certainly frustrated with all the sensitive locations nonsense, getting my target restriction removed is undoubtedly a step in the right direction. The legal battles will continue.
