14 inch but Mossberg states NFA legal. Is it NY legal?

Believe it would be classified as a Firearm under NYS law due to having barrel length less than 18" and therefore would not be GTG.
or (d)
any weapon made from a shotgun or rifle whether by alteration,
modification,
Yeah, good luck with that...
BTW, I did read PL 265
But if you can get an FFL within NYS to transfer it to you, go for it!
You're still ignoring the definition of a shotgun, for the second time. This gun was never a shotgun because it never had a stock on it and therefore was never designed to be fired from the shoulder.
Good god you're still doing it. No barrel was ever "cut down" and then you equate it in the end to what would be making a short barreled shotgun when these 2 things are by the law, not the same thing. Laws have meaning and these laws have more than 70 years of federal NFA court cases solidifying that they mean what they say, very plainly. These aren't being sold yet, so we'll have to wait a bit before they can be purchased in stores. And you're still ignoring "Yeah, good luck with that". Dude, it's a Mossberg 590 with a pistol (yeah, yeah, "birds head") grip and a barrel cut down to 14". Good luck with it in NY. I'll say it again if you can get an FFL to transfer it go for it. Or just buy a Mossy 590 and cut the stock and barrel and see how that works for you.
Whats wrong with it? Semi auto-no. ATF approved. It it a pistol? No-pistols have to be under 26'' What could the commies in Albany call it? Make up a new classification?Mossberg insists that they have produced this weapon in accordance with all federal laws. I will NOT transfer one of these.
We gonna get our first ban here?Glad I got to see the pic before it is removed LOL.
