Well it a matter of degree of course but I noticed that after 120 rounds of the 64gr Gold Dots the action almost looked as if it hadn't been fired. After a similar amount of IMI 69gr IMI the action was pretty heavily fouled with powder. I went through about 500 rounds before additional lubing was required to maintain normal function. I consider 1000 rounds to be the more typical interval, in otherwords I should not need to dump oil in the gun at all during a typical session. I'm thinking I should get some Fiocchi 5.56 as well. It seems to be very nice lower cost ammo as well.I didn't really notice that when I use them but then again 100 to 200 round you gun gets dirty.
I'm loading up some 65gr Seirra Gamekings this week to use on some Yotes this month.
