Apparently it's corporate policy, mandated by a cuck legal department afraid of litigation from NY, CA, IL, etc. Corporate office mandates that all retail stores follow all applicable laws for the resident state of the customer.
TIP: They do NOT specifically ask where you are from when purchasing anything in their stores (excepting firearms, obviously). The lesson here is to keep your mouth shut and don't volunteer that information. You'll find the same policy at Bass Pro Shops, Aim Surplus, Palmetto State Arms, and every other large retailer of guns and ammo. (The other lesson is to avoid big boxes and buy from the little guy.)

A few years ago I was looking for a non threaded AR barrel. Buds had one so I placed the order for it and shortly after, I got an email that they cancelled the order. I called and talked to someone and they said they are not shipping any gun parts to NY that could be used on an AR. Since then they have been blacklisted by me. Buds, Cheaper Than Dirt and Midway have got to be the most anti gun online gun stores out there if that makes sense.

I get what you`re saying, but how has all this been working out for us in NY. Especially right after the most recent NY v Bruen. The problem with the SCOTUS, is that they leave the door cracked open just enough for all these criminal thugs so that they can keep right on going with passing unconstitutional BS (death by a thousand cuts). The SCOTUS can`t do anything to these tyrant SOB`s who are passing all these sh!t laws, and these GD thugs know it. The SCOTUS interprets the law, it doesn`t enforce the law. The SCOTUS would have to get congress to do something to stop this sh!t, and with this administration running this country, its never going to happen. This is why we keep getting screwed. I've had unknown phone numbers show up with text messages like "what guns have you got for sale?" and "got any guns you're selling?" Don't have anything, don't know you, but now your number is blocked.

I know its a bullsh!t lie, because i live on the border of PA and i`ve never seen anybody have to have a background check there to buy ammo. But yes, you`re right, its bullsh!t regardless. As a matter of fact also, walmart was the only place i`ve seen, in PA, that asks to see ID to buy ammo. They don`t record or scan anything from your ID, they just look at it and check it for proof of age. Any other places down there just sell you the ammo, because its very much legal to do so.

Anyone of you Pennsylvania people know what happened to Sportsmans Supply? I know there was one shop in Butler and another somewhere else. I've always followed and bought from their auctions (Auction Arms and GB). They usually had about 13 pages of listings, cases of ammo, guns, optics, etc. but now I'm seeing mostly cheap leftover items not much nice stuff.
I had to search for a mention of the Man in the High Castle.
I was just turned onto this... I am middle way through the 2nd season, what an amazing show. I love it.
I'm in. I trust your judgment on all things dystopian quasi-history stories. I'll look this up at some point. I almost started watching it a couple years ago but kept the thought in my mind it would be worth while.
