That’s a great price.Found one single 20 round box of Hornady Custom 180 grain XTP 10mm yesterday at Runnings........it was $17.
I’ve noticed the same as well. I’ve looked for a 10mm pistol (either a Glock or a 1911 in 10mm) but haven’t found one anywhere. It’s weird, like I see plenty of 10mm and 41 magnum ammo but no available pistols for said calibers. I find plenty of 9mm and 45acp pistols but no 9mm and 45acp ammo. I kind of wish the gun manufacturers and ammo manufacturers could agree on what caliber ammo/gun they are making so you can find the gun and the caliber. Not local, but ammo situation is very similar in SC.
Just stopped in at a local academy sports trying to see what it's like here. Same shortage. Very strict 2 boxes per customer policy. Very limited selection a few boxes of hornady 20 rd .223
Maybe 30 boxes of cci stinger .22lr. A few .22mag .17
About 10 boxes of ammo inc. 10mm. (side note this is one of the most readily available pistol ammo I've seen this entire shortage it makes me want one)

Local gun stores. Was into DD’s ranch a week ago and he had 4 boxes of it. Two weeks ago cabelas had two of the sig sauer 200 round packs on their shelf. Seems like whenever I go in there’s always 1-4 boxes on the shelf at various local stores. It looks like most stores get their ammo deliveries Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Since I’m usually off work on Wednesday’s I make the rounds and pick up a few boxes of various calibers. Last week cabelas had a shelf full of Winchester 223/5.56 hollow points. I picked up 3 packs of CCI stingers and 200 rounds of 40S&WInquiring minds want to know where you are seeing all this 10mm ammo and whether it’s at a reasonable price. I have not been able to feed my Glock 20 for months because of the shortages.
This is exactly the same situation in both Wally worlds in my area.I stopped at a Walmart ISO .22LR. The shelves were completely bare! Not even a single shotgun shell. I should have taken a picture, I’ve never seen it like this.

I suspect that Walmart is going to just stop Selling ammunition all together.Hmm I was under the impression things were getting better. Guess not.

Lol @ "just to get pissed off".I was at Cabela on Saturday. I didn’t expect to find any ammo but looked just to get pissed off. They might have had 6-8 boxes. A few 50 BMG and a few 300 win mag. Literally nothing else.
I’m so sick of not finding any ammo anywhere except high priced online retailers. I’m not paying $0.70/for 9mm.Lol @ "just to get pissed off".
Not local but...got notifications from 2 diff online retailers that 1 had Rem 20 gauge buckshot in stock so, ordered 10 boxes of that. The other one had Fiocchi 16 gauge HV #6's in stock so ordered a case of that, which was the last 16 gauge ammo on my list of wants.
Life is good.
Think that's bad? I just saw .22 Win Mag online yesterday (not CCI) for $30/box of 50. I'm sitting on a potential gold mine.I’m so sick of not finding any ammo anywhere except high priced online retailers. I’m not paying $0.70/for 9mm.
Just saw on Facebook that DD’s ranch got 22 magnum, 22LR and 300 blackout in today
Seriously? Damn. I’ve been trying to source some 20ga. Buckshot for a while now with not much luck.Lol @ "just to get pissed off".

I’ve essentially given up and I think all I’ll shoot this year is a a couple boxes of 9mm and .380. The rest will be .22lr but even that I’m almost scared to shoot. I’ll never find more. I think any shooting sessions will be BYOA. I’m not footing the boxes and taking payment as I have in the past. Sorry folks!Think that's bad? Yes and no. Prices are set at what the market will bear. If enough people refuse to buy at a price they deem to be too high then the price will come down. I have a set ceiling of what I will pay for various types of ammo. When I the price exceeds it than I don’t purchase until it drops back down.Prices have been crazy too though... 8-(
Maybe we can work something out in the 20 gauge trade dept.Seriously? Damn. I’ve been trying to source some 20ga. Buckshot for a while now with not much luck.
