Certainly not bad in todays market. I'd buy those also at that price.i know it’s not pre Covid prices, but for post Covid I haven’t seen anything cheaper.

Is that Brass or steel? The cheapest I've found 50 9mm fmj for like 17.99$ but it's very hard to find
Is that Brass or steel?
Small pistol primers have been scarce and expensive. Shooting buddies have been sharing primers to keep competing or keeping range dates. Getting some rimfire handguns, for the Misses of course.Do you guys reload? At this point if you're not reloading I would say get whatever you can! If steel is the cheapest buy that.
But Biden said so...............and yet, all the manufacturers claim to be working 24/7 to get the ammo out there. Good thing there isn't an all out shooting war going on! Lot more ammo gets used in one of them than in the back yard.
Sorry, not buying any of the bullshit.
Robin
That’s a way better price than the boxes in auburn bass pro. They were $43/box. It was behind the counter and I cared little to investigate the specifics of the anmo at that price. I dont even need self defense rounds currently. I bought a ton when FMJ was $1.00/ round and self defense rounds were $1.45/round. Why not right?Cabela's buffalo has most ammo I've seen in awhile right now.

Based on what I've been seeing over the past week or so I would tend to agree. 9mm is no longer flying off the shelves at .60/rd, and prices are gradually decreasing. Inventory is slowly starting to come back, and hopefully this will be the beginning of the return to "normalcy".I think we have hit market saturation and those panic buyers aren’t panicked anymore.
Quick return to normalcy hopefully.Based on what I've been seeing over the past week or so I would tend to agree. 9mm is no longer flying off the shelves at .60/rd, and prices are gradually decreasing. I was buying at 17-18 cents per round prior to all this BS. Will we ever see that again ehh who knows. I thinks it’s possible but not probable. I could see demand dropping greatly in the next year or so when those scared millennials that bought out of fear marry their antigun sweetheart and they sell their guns and ammo at huge losses. I’ll be there with cash in hand waiting.I saw 9mm PMC bronze on ammo seek today at 34 cents per. We'll probably never see 20 cents per ever again (man that's depressing to type out) but even if we could get back down to 25 per that would be damn good. Man I remember when I first started out winchester white box of 100 was $10 and 20 rounds of wolf x39 was $1.99 and sometimes cheaper. Imagine a case of 9mm for $100 and a case of ak ammo for $200 dollars or less. Very depressing thinking about those days.

I do agree 20-25 cents per round is more feasible soon. It’s dropped a good bit and fast already. Not too long ago 9mm was $1.00/round so I can see it holding steady here for a bit then dropping quickly. .223 is still holding steady at $1.00-$1.10/round. Sadly .223 seems to still be on the rise or at least holding steady. I need .223 more than 9mm. Need is a bad word I guess it’s more of a want. I’m really low on .45acp and that’s still difficult to find. I have plenty of other rounds in other calibers so I’m not desperate at all.
6.8 SPC a has dropped quickly. I’ve seen it for $0.65-$0.98/round depending on type of round. I’ll be buying some soon since I have a 6.8spc.
When prices get back to close to normal I’ll drop a few grand on ammo. When this occurs again I’ll sell off and have a separate ammo cash kitty to use.
Me too. I need more shelving as well. I’m nearly out of room.Same - over the years I've had to balance new gun buying and ammo buying, so when 9mm was sub-$200/1K I rarely bought more than a case or two at a time. There are still a few guns on my "wish list" but prices are still nuts. I only recently started to organize my ammo cans (magnets and tape) and I need to buy some more heavy-duty shelving... (this is not our 'forever home' so moving this stuff is not going to be fun)
I've yet to get into long-range shooting and it does interest me, but even before COVID that ammo was expensive.

What shelving have you been looking at? I’d like something cabinet height with doors that lock but having a hard time finding anything close to reasonable. It’s just holding ammo in my basement so I don’t want to spend $600.
I only have a few guns I’d like to get and half of them I’m undecided on anyway. I know I want a sig 365 with optics but that’s the only one I’m certain in right now. I’d like a high end 1911 but I know I’ll never shoot it so what’s the point.
Good to hear on the sig.My SIG P365XL with optic is great; I don't have a fullsize gun with an optic and that's on my list.
Shelving.. not sure, the super heavy-duty "1,000 lb per shelf" ones are $$$. I've thought about getting one of those SecureIt locking cabinets (they are based in Syracuse too, could likely save on shipping by picking up) but for the same price could almost get another safe. Most of my ammo is in ammo cans so it would be a sizable loss in case of theft or flooding.
I have some of those plastic shelving units for tools/food/etc but no way would they handle the weight.
One of my summer projects is re-organizing the basement..
they received a shipment that morning and all the .45acp, bulk 9mm, bulk 5.56 and .22lr was cleaned out a few hours after opening.
I’m not sure how to take this ?Kind of makes you wish you were unemployed and buying ammo with the taxpayer's generosity.
Me? I have to work for a living. So no ammo for me.
