Yep! I don’t really care for it at all and I have 2One of the problems with ARs is they are like potato chips. Can't have just one
Doesn’t Biden want to regulate parts too ?
I only removed them because I thought the rail would look cool. Those frigging screws are why I finally broke down and bought a pair of reading glasses for my gun desk.
Appreciate the offer. I have shot the platform and round I am leaning towards when my youngest built the firearm years ago.@Dr. Evil
Doc,
If you want to meet up at a range proximal to you, I may or may not have the stuff you are interested in so you can handle them to see how they feel. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Think I am leaning toward the "other" firearm I linked in the thread in 5.56.Understood. Wasnt sure if you wanted to put hands on compliance alternatives
what do you mean with neutered?OK. More narrowing down. If I decide not to do a build and I am leaning towards an AR in 5.56, would you go with a neutered AR already built at a gun store or the "other" firearm in this link? CT4-2A OTHER FIREARM - DELTA LEVEL DEFENSE
what do you mean with neutered?
I am about half hour from them. Have shopped there before. Prefer to give my business to Civil Armory if I can.Not sure where you live but this place has some other manufacturers of "others" that arent as pricey as the DLD models.

I think I remember Ben from @OnSight Firearms Training talking about "other firearms" a while back, perhaps he can add some insight.Actually, this was it. Doesn't have to be neutered like buying an AR and making changes to be NY legal. Thoughts?

I think the biggest problem with the PC9 right now is finding 9mm!Biggest problem with a PCC9 right now is finding one. Friend of mine sold his $400 PCC9 for $900
I think the biggest problem with the PC9 right now is finding 9mm!
I think 9mm is even more scarce.Same for 5.56 No?
I can find it but they are limiting how much you can buy. Plus, holy crap is it expensive.I think 9mm is even more scarce.
Fixed mag also.Featurless. Ie throdson stock, no threaded barrel/muzzle device
Had to cut the bayonet mount off mine too. Don't forget that.Fixed mag only if you have “features.” Thorsden with no muzzle break and you’re gtg.
Not a fan of the Thorsden stock. IMHO I think it is fugly. Looks like something out of Star Wars. No thanks lol.Fixed mag only if you have “features.” Thorsden with no muzzle break and you’re gtg.

Ok seems you’ve made your decision. Go with the other. Full function and benefit of looking cool. I know you prefer Civil Armory but if they’re unable to get for you in a reasonable timeframe you can get it from Collector and walk out with it. Seems to always have everything in stock. There’s also Ulster Firearms who seem to have a lot of inventory.

Thanks. Not Scott but me and my boys had some issues there when they were young with Scott's mom. Scott apoligized but it left a bad taste in my mouth so I haven't been back there much. Also Charlie has been hot and cold in my experience over the years. Scott is a good dude though. Hate the store though as far as ease of just even walking around in there. Ryan at Ulster is a good guy. Actually stopped by there Friday. As I mentioned before, I would rather give Derek at Civil my business if possible for another reason I won't go into. Civil has them in stock. I messaged Derek and he is holding one for me.Ok seems you’ve made your decision. Go with the other. Full function and benefit of looking cool.
