AR magazines are designed and marketed as detachable. A tubular magazine is designed as a fixed magazine.
If that was what they meant, they should have said the ability to accept a loaded magazine, but they didn't.
If I decide to market a tubular magazine that can be loaded, then screwed on to your normal unmodified shotgun, does it suddenly become an AW ?
