Yes not everyone carries a subcompact. But you know what? More do than don't.capacity argument eliminated, not everyone carries a subcompact so capacity is not always a factor.

Cool. Go for it. If you load it with plus P 185's it may solve some of your barrier problems. Maybe not so due to the velocity loss from the 3 inch but it might. Then you have manual safety issues and the beavertail sticking into your gut when you sit down if you are a 2 or 3 o'clock carrier.
And one again, actions speak for themselves.
Why does that even have sites on it?

Not for me. But that is another thread.
To aim?Why does that even have sites on it?
LOL, it's so small though. There's almost no site radius. I think I'd rather have a bayonet mount on it.Those are sweet. I like the ATI.
To aim?
I'd much prefer this to avoid the pinch in my gut if I had to carry a. 45.Those are sweet. I like the ATI.

What kind of holster you using? If the holster is up against the safety there should be no pinch.I'd much prefer this to avoid the pinch in my gut if I had to carry a. 45.
Anyone serious about self defense would never carry a subcompact.10 is not 7 or 5 in a subcompact. We've been through this before.
I carry appendix. No matter what holster I have it pinches. It used to be a crossbreed that I modified with an extra flap to prevent that. What kind of holster you using? If the holster is up against the safety there should be no pinch.
Ok.Anyone serious about self defense would never carry a subcompact.
I remember that. I wanted one so badly at tbe time way back when.My first carry gun a long time ago was this:
Taurus PT 145 Millennium Pro .45 ACP Pistol
I sold it to get a G27 (yuck). It carried about the same. I had about 2500 flawless down the pipe.
Most actually carry a pocket pistol (.380). Many say they are a separate class than sub compacts. I'm a leader not a follower though (even though I have a LCP custom in my pocket now).Yes not everyone carries a subcompact. But you know what? More do than don't.
Honestly is was great in any caliber. I was poor and it worked and held 10.I remember that. I wanted one so badly at tbe time way back when.
Didn't take the bait..... What a disappointment.

There are no issues for those who know how to carry and use their weapon.Cool. Go for it. If you load it with plus P 185's it may solve some of your barrier problems. You are such a man.My first carry gun was a 6" Dan Wesson model 715, 357 Magnum.
I've got it's predecessor, the Para P10-45. It's a heavy little compact 1911. Its a thick little bugger since its a double-stack .45. Not fun to shoot.
Come on now with that old "stand in front of it comment". I don't want to get shot with a pellet gun!It really amazes me that s simple discussion about what round can do what and what round can't can turn into such nastiness.
My caliber is better than yours and so on.
I'll tell you what, show me the true confidence and stand in front of any round, get shot and tell me what caliber is no good.
What nastiness? I don't see anyone getting bent out of shape here. ECU calls me out, gives me crap, and I playfully give it back to him. Same goes with the Donut Guy.It really amazes me that s simple discussion about what round can do what and what round can't can turn into such nastiness.

It's not just them. It's guys in lab coats too with degrees. As far as the YouTube guys, it either penetrates or it doesn't. It either fails in mud or it doesn't. But if you don't like the results well then we can say what you just said.I say it like this, all of this data, all of these Professional Youtube shooters; all good for conversations.
Fry pans, blocks of cement, all great things to shoot at. Hell, I have had my share of shooting at all kinds of items. I'll tell ya what though, and many on this forum know what I am talking about, nothing, I mean nothing, takes the place of real life situations. I know what works and what does not work.
I will take my own experiences over some guy on Youtube, I do not care if it is some guy shooting at objects or dumping his gun in water, sand and mud.
