And who needs a round to go through a cider block? All you need is a round that will penetrate and stop a human. Any of those rounds listed above will do the trick.
Or if the perp is behind a refrigerator, large piece of wooden furniture, an aluminum display stand at a store, gas pump, garbage can or small dumpster returning fire. You are going to want a caliber that is better suited in penetrating these barriers. But if you were behind the Cider block? Ahhhh
All it did was make a small dent. The others went through the first layer.Eh. Non comparable ammo different barrel lengths. If you don't care about the barrel length then what the hell is the point lol? At least he displayed how the 45 is superior.
Hard cider...But if you were behind the Cider block? Ahhhh
It wouldn't of made a difference. I've got other videos showing the 9 or .40 out penetrating the .45 on hard barriers. There's the medieval helmet, steel pot WW2 helmet, phone books, asbestos planks, ect. There are many.I don't like the shot placement. And I also don't like that the 45 was the shortest barrel. Why not shoot the 45 out of a 1911 and the 9 out of a short barrel?
Who uses FMJ's for SD ? ?
Anything soft that that requires weight for penetration.... Yes!Can a .45 even penetrate paper? I'm starting to wonder.
Funny you say that. I picked up a bunch of brass at my range yesterday and mixed in was some 357 sig brass. Looking at the brass I wasn't sure it could even reliably cut through the wind. Can a .45 even penetrate paper? I'm starting to wonder.
Jokes can be used for for diversion but facts don't lie. I used to be a 1911fanboy. Nobody could tell me that the manly .45 wasn't the beast tamer. How could it not be? It's bigger!
Well, when you research ballistics and tests and learn how bullets work, you see different. It's up to you to see these results with a bias or not. That's entirely based on your character.
