Looking like next week. It's at stippling and coating as of last Friday. He was expecting it back this week then assembling and shipping it to my FFL. So hopefully next week. I still don't have my holster from G-code, I didn't realize they had a large lead time. I'm also waiting g for my second quarter bonus to order the optic, sights and pusher. So it looks like everything is going to happen all at once.
I wish I have the money for the RMS deal I really want one on my G43.

Next build has been planned but will be a ways away. I'm thinking G19 marine corps emblem (EGA) in the grip with a distressed American flag paint job.
I'm unsure of the color now but I'm waiting until I see it in-person. That's no fault of theirs I choose it.
I Was the same way with my CZ and wasn't overly impressed at first but after about a week (when the shock for lack of better terms) wore off I was able to look at it subjectively vs objectively and now I really like the color
It's back to the original guy. I like the paint job a lot more on his pictures.

The guys that built my pistol are doing a raffle for a custom G19 for the hurricane relief. If anyone is interested here are the details.
She's home! The workmanship is excellent and it's even better looking in person. When I unboxed it at the LGS everyone hovered around me wanting to check it out. I had enough time to pop off a quick 20 rounds. The sights were off and needed to be tweaked but because I was going to remove and replace them I didn't bother adjusting them.
After I got inside I went to work putting all the other upgrades in. Well the good news is I did my fist full disassemble of a Glock to change out the trigger. It was a pretty straight forward process. Next I went to town on the stock sights again everything. Went very smooth. I really like the rear sight tool I bought. The bad news comes when I try to mount the red dot. The proper screws weren't sent with the gun. I have to admit when he found there was a problem he called me right up and figured out what the issue was. He's sending the right not to me but it sucks having to wait.

As posted in another thread I mounted my red dot today but have yet to get any range time behind it. I hope to post pictures and a range evaluation after this weekend.
My next endeavor with this is to buy the conversion barrels for it. My question is should I get a ported barrel? Is it even worth it. I know my slide has windows to aid in the functionality of a ported barrel but I don't know if that's the route I want to go. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Bringing this thread back to life. One of the conversion barrels I have been eyeing is on sale. I can't decide on a color. Normally not a big deal but considering this already custom it should be part of the decision. The barrel comes in stainless, black and Tin coated. I think black would look good but the stock 40 barrel is black so maybe a different color to help quick tell what is installed. What do you guys think?

If I am spending 2k on a custom Glock, I am going to look at a STI instead. If it was cheap I would consider.
That's good and all but mine came no where near that price. I actually spent as much on this gun as my 1911. The sad truth is a shoot them the same. This gun as shown and proves to me I like red dots and will be modifying my guns to this preference.

LOL,,WHAT,,really your gonna get it dirty !!! Good Lord Doc !! I think you will like it,,every Glock I ever had I always did the same things to it and it was always better in my eyes ! Ya can always change it back buddy ! Let me know when ya do and how ya like it.
