I have the answer to stop all of this. Since no one seems to care if white cops shoot an unarmed white man, then I propose that only black cops respond to calls involving black men, and vice versa. It'll be like pat downs at sports stadiums in Europe. Female security guards pat down women, males the men. But that may make too much sense- what will people have to riot and protest about then?

Seriously though- you can bet the might insurance lobby is on it. They don't want to be making Ferguson-sized pay outs all year long to businesses and town residences. They'll go under.

I'll also note that after the horrible church shootings in Charleston last year, that the black community politely asked Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to go home after they descended on the city in the days following the shooting. They told all the riot mongers that they would handle the fall out privately in the community, thank you very much. That's why Charleston wasn't another Baltimore or Charlotte. These communities have a say in these things. We often forget that.

All of this rioting is absolutely uncivilized. People have the right to PEACEFULLY assemble, not set cities afire. And it's about time that these spineless politicians speak up about it. Law and order. Chaos is only abetted by chaos (and fears about losing upcoming elections.) What we need are statesmen- the Winston Churchills of the world- not more politicians. We need people who stand for something. That's why this behavior is allowed to continue- the government is behaving like the parents of a spoiled child. When your kid's having a tantrum, you don't deal with it by indulging them.

I think the media benefits but indirectly. After-all they simply respond to what is popular with many times disregard for the consequences (Sensationalism).

What about "The politicians and Pastors" promoting this idea of inequality. What would be their motivation for stopping that trend? nothing right?
And then the Rappers, Fashion, Artists that not only sell the music but tell those kids how they are going to dress and behave to be cool and current?
What about the party that promises impossible solutions? There are no ethics so as soon as I get the votes then I can blame my failures in someone else.
Also if you have a population educated, involved and active with critical thinking those in charge might be held accountable. And we do not want that to happen, do we?

We criticize banana republics in south america and make fun of them but we are not very different, or even worse.

We claimed to be civilized but we don't fully understand the true meaning of that word. Some think that education is about academic excellence.
