I am waiting one one piece for the lower and the replacement upper will be here Monday am.

I'll have it done as soon as the two parts arrive.

It should only take you an hour or two. Assuming you have all the right tools. One thing that has helped me with my builds is using a small jewelers rat tail to smooth out some of the roll pin holes for the trigger guard and bolt catch (unless you have a lower that has a screw in pin for the bolt catch) on the lower and for the forward assist roll pin hole on the upper.

As of now, just black. This may change down the road.

I might do this one, blood red with Zombie green highlights. For real.

Yeah they are fun. I have 4 of them. I turned a Rem 700 223 into a 224 Valkyrie by opening the bolt face and rebarreling it with a 28 inch Krieger barrel.

I want another AR. Probably going to get that AR firearm. When things get better, I will pay the extra money for a complete lower of my choice and a complete upper of my choice. Why? The same reason that I do not reload. I don’t have the time, don’t feel like doing it, nor do I want the headaches of wrong parts ordered or a spring missing or an incompatible LEGO piece. I will pay for another to do it for me just the same as I pay another to rotate my tires. I’m lazy.

Thus far, this has been enjoyable and a nice learning experience.

I do not need another AR, just wanted one and I am in no hurry. Life is a dance, you learn as you go.

I will build more. Maybe an AR pistol next.

Was looking for “100” on target. Looked again and saw 84? What an odd distance ha. I still say it was 15 yards.....

The idea of staying supersonic out to 1k and beyond is oddly appealing to me.

First time out, I'm going to go with an off-the-shelf upper from PSA with a 20" 1/6.5 stainless barrel and a LaRue trigger. Should give be a decent platform from which to start.
