Very nice Goperfect, Do you rotate that stuff regularly? I'm criticizing just informing, products with oils/shortening in them do store well for looong term. Peanuts and other nuts and premade baking mixes like pancake mix/Bisquick/some cake mixes will turn rancid and /or off gas and lose the package integrity. Just wanted to pass that along in case you or others don't know, hell as far as I know you could use one jar of PB in a week vs it lasting me a year! Oh, I am surprised you did post those pics!

Everything is dated and I use what I store.

This is only one part of my basement pantry. I have so much food, not sure if I can eat it all.

At least I know I won't starve

I eat a lot of peanut butter. A lot. I have about 35 jars of the stuff.

You should look into getting the small sealed packets. They may last longer without introducing air into each serving. Then again if you go through a lot, the jars make the most sense.

Honey essentially lasts for nearly ever. It may harden a bit, but it's otherwise anti-bacterial in and of itself afaik. It has a "best by" date, but I think it lasts far longer.

Your best bet is to actually get local honey. Honey made locally contains local allergens, so you're getting that constant exposure / your body is more naturally acclimated to local pollen.

Not sure how accurate it is that it helps with seasonal allergies from a given area, but that's what I've "heard." @Dr. Evil probably knows more about this stuff.

Honestly I've had good success finding 32 oz from Walmart of 91% pure, for about $1 and change or so. 70% is easier to get, but I prefer 91% when I can get it since I use it to clean CPUs or copper contacts when I need to for repairing my computer. So I always keep a little in the house anyway.

It's also concentrated enough you could add it to a little aloe vera and you basically have sanitizer.
