Great....(not). Another proprietary tool that I'd have to purchase to use once. This makes getting a stripped slide even less appealing.
EDIT: Another $10 isn't too bad.

Okay....Holosun 507c mounted on gen 4 Glock 19 utilizing a rear dovetail plate. Without a sight pusher, I'd have had to really whack the plate with a rubberized hammer (so...old sight pusher purchase for the win). Now I've got to get to the range and zero the sight (I'm planning on a 10 yard zero).

What's it going on
My slide is going to Galloway precision for milling, then off to Ruger because they have a recall on certain American Compact barrels. Ruger is usually pretty good, and I'm hoping they re nitride the slide. If they don't, what do you guys suggest? I opted not to have slide re finished at Galloway hoping Ruger will do it. If they don't, I'm not that concerned because it's a stainless steel slide. Do you think a bit of oil under the optic, or I was thinking a light layer of grease. Optic will be removed either once or twice a year for battery replacement, so I can keep an eye on it.
I'd highly recommend refinishing it, worse case get a can of duracoat or something

The bad part is now I have a 15% off coupon. Might have to buy a nikon closeout before it expires.
Screw the irons. Get that dot, (it will help improve your iron sight shooting)
It is but HK specially hammer boys cost more.
I cant remember off hand who usually does P30s (also I'm jelly I want a p30 LEM) but yes its possible

Dry firing the pistol with the red dot for the first time really forced me to perfect my presentation. If I'm off by even a bit, I cannot see the dot. After a few minutes, my presentation got good enough that I can immediately see the dot upon arm extension. I'm sure this will make my presentation for iron sights better, too.

I cannot really talk since I’ve never used one except for a cheap one an a pellet handgun. But what happens when the presentation isn’t perfect because it cannot be due to circumstances?
