Shooting with a dot on a handgun does have a learning curve . The dot will expose any flaws in your technique. Back on target in a string of fire takes a bit more skill with a handgun over a rifle . When that dot is bouncing out of the window on recoil the key is to improve your technique to the point where the dot bounces straight up and back down on target as opposed to the dot bouncing all over the place .
Not to be a douche but that is the same premise for “traditional” sights. If you can’t keep the front post sight in view, you have to still bring it back. Only difference is you don’t have to line up front and rear sights for follow ups, unlike a dot.
I process it differently. I think about it as target focused, not sight focused. As soon a the dot is on or close, pull it.

Its legal in 50 states. Not a threaded barrel. A reported 44% reduction in muzzle blastiness (technical term).

It’s a barrel and compensator so I don’t think it’s terrible. I’d buy one for my 365 if they were made for one. I’ve always wanted to try something like this to see the difference. Probably a great addition to a pistol with an optic.
This is DOPE. Would love one for my Glock. What makes you say it's legal in all 50? Doesn't the safe act say something like all compensators and muzzle devices on semi auto guns are illegal? (hard to tell tonality via internet but genuinely curious not trying to be argumentative)
I don’t like the trigger on them and at this point I’m fairly heavily invested in the 365 platform. My son wants a 365xl and I’ll probably buy him that in a few months incase NYS does something stupider. Also many of my friends and the guys on my church security team carry the 365 so we can swap mags and share them, same with my kid. I like your look and feel of the 365 as well.
So, how compatible would that be with standard P320s?

I thought the 365s had a version of Sig's X-Ray sights? The X-Rays are as good as 3 dots get IMO. Though I like 2 dot sights better.
I have never used the circle-dot reticle with any of my 507k sights on pistols. I only use the dot so that I can "Aim small and miss small."
I think he was referring to the question on why I don’t like Glocks.
The nice thing with ported options are that they usually don’t interfere with holsters as much as comps do. Sometimes comps can get funky when doing one handed manipulation drills. For example if the slide locks back on empty on a comp’d setup and you go to put it into the holster so you’re one good usable hand can now insert a fresh mag, sometimes comps can get hung up on the inside of holsters. With ported setups the outer dimensions don’t really change so it doesn’t affect it.
