YES. If her dream was that important, then she should've taken more forethought before she was charged with DWI. And don't tell me it wasn't proven she was over the limit. She refused the breathalyzer and if she was confident she was OK, she wouldn't have refused. Letting people "off" time after time after time after time changes nothing. How many times do you hear the story of how 1,2,3 people are killed by a drunk driver only to find he / she had 3,4,5,6,7 priors? She should face the music like every other offender.And now she gets one and her dream of working with the FBI is gone. What did that teach her? At the end of the day, nothing. In fact, it may make her not give a damned anymore.
I'm not saying she should get off. I'm just throwing out the other angle.
