I've never been a mass murderer, so I can't really comment on the validity of the stuff they do.
And any time someone tries to justify these atrocities with "but the evidence will be destroyed" should alert anyone of the grave state of policing in this country today. That is a bold faced confession that a "collar" for the boys in blue is worth more than your life.

If you’re doing something worthy of a judge signing off on a warrant to knock your door down in the middle of the night than you deserve whatever you get. Funny how I’ve never had my door broken down. Maybe I just don’t commit felonies.

I think there are couple of 'thing' we're (us peons) missing here.
It is entirely possible a bunch of gang-bangers (criminals) decide to use the no knock raid as a means of forced entry into someones home. Blast through a door at 4am and start yelling "POLICE'---POLICE" ~~~ how does the person just waking up KNOW it's actually the police breaking in. Just because someone is blowing in my door at 3 or 4am and starts yelling commands doesn't make them the police.
second thing, I think there is a huge difference between a warrant on a drug house and a warrant on a ERPO. apparently, this guy had NO criminal history. and just because someone reported guns in the house, doesn't mean the guy had access to them. Hell, it doesn't mean the guy was even dangerous. and posting on social media about militias does not make one dangerous

Rodger Stone got a no knock raid, all he owned was a computer and files. was the mobilization of 50 SWAT officers and the cost associated with that 'raid', justified, I personally, think not.

These raids got out of hand with the war on drugs, a war police will never ever win . The amount of drugs in this country tell me one thing . Americans want them. It’s illegal to steal or kill for them , if someone wants to waste there life doing drugs it’s their decision to make not the government.

God forbid if they outlawed alcohol everyone on this forum would be outraged .Half the cops in this country would be going through withdrawals. Were these raids not necessary? Is there no efficacy to recovering the evidence necessary to convict wannabe suicide bombers making vests, underwear bombs, pressure cooker bombs, shoe bombs, etc?
Pivoting to the “War on Drugs” was smart because it makes the all or nothing view commonly pushed here sound schmart.

Got enough evidence to justify a search warrant at a terrorist bunker ? Then search. If they can destroy all the evidence they were terrorists in 5 minutes, then they weren't that dangerous.

A “Red Flag” warrant is inherently the worst time to execute a no-knock raid.

I am against no knock warrants in all but maybe .01% of the time and it had darn well better be clear and extenuating, imminent threat circumstances.
I have one minor harmless infraction on my record (college spring break
) and am as law abiding and honorable as you can get. Yet if I am minding my own business at home with my family either awake or sleeping and my door is blasted in and people come barging in, people are going to die, myself, family and/or those blasting in my door. This exact same scenario can unfold in millions of other households. There is so much that can go wrong with no knock warrants they should be used only as an absolute real genuine last resort when no other option is available. So many peoples lives have been mistakenly ruined by mistakes made during them.
There are many well known examples of informant false statements, wrong houses etc..
It's happened to plenty of people it shouldn't have happened to.
