And, no, extending conceal carry laws actually isn’t the answer here
The armed guard with police experience just demonstrates that open carry is tactically inferior to concealed.
If he had been concealed carrying and not readily identifiable as a guard then things might have been different.
I also don't think anyone is suggesting this didn't happen. But it is a fact that our 3 letter agencies have a history of manufacturing this sort of event just to step in and claim credit for stopping it.
I don't think the notion that maybe one got away from them is outlandish. Wouldn't be the first time that happened either.
I have seen the one that shows the first few shots. Is there one that shows where the guard engages him ?You watch the video?

Curious, I haven't watched, the guard take any form of cover, or did he run right out undergunned? As for the officer and his shooting, he shot exactly the way he was trained to shoot. He shot the same way that most departments teach as well as the Military.
Center mass. He could not know the level of armor this asshole was wearing. He got off rounds and was killed. Open or concealed carry would have made no difference in the position that he was employed as.
Now, an everyday White guy would have had a good opportunity to drop him, especially if concealed carrying.

People always say that, but I think it's not true more often than not.In time, all facts will come out.
That’s why I do a variation of the failure to stop drill. One shot center mass, one shot head/neck and one shot lower anodized/groin.As for the officer and his shooting, he shot exactly the way he was trained to shoot. He shot the same way that most departments teach as well as the Military.

I am not faulting his training or tactics, since I haven't seen the video. I am also not suggesting that TOPS should have employed an undercover guard. As for the officer and his shooting, he shot exactly the way he was trained to shoot. He shot the same way that most departments teach as well as the Military.

Sounds like an angry young man. Same behavior seen in angry black men, angry young Hispanic men......Confirmed: Buffalo Suspect Wasn't Conservative, Also Despised Fox News, Greg Gutfeld, Ben Shapiro, Rupert Murdoch
The media jumps to wild conclusions about these mass murderers, and we often find out later that their biased impressions are not facts.www.westernjournal.com
This thread is going as all mass shooting threads here go: most have their head in the sand. Don’t like the implication of how this could affect gun ownership so deny it happened; it has to be a false flag. The timing is “too perfect” or “too much of a coincidence”. A gun owner could not possibly be so evil, yet somehow his handlers could be. This is what paranoia sounds like.
How about: he was a shitty person, he read too much damn echo chamber trash online, he did a shitty, evil thing, and yes he did it with a rifle. And, no, extending conceal carry laws actually isn’t the answer here considering an armed guard with police experience who engaged failed to stop him.
Nah, you don’t like the implications of that. So go back to ludicrous implications of false flags.
The video is 50% buffering/pixelated garbage for the bulk of the actual event. If the security guard/former cop was in blue/black shorts then IMO he brought a pistol to a rifle fight and failed to use any sort of cover or concealment, total Doc Holiday shit. Like I said, its a craptacular section of the video, one cannot tell what the hell is going on, literally a couple of shitty frames to make a judgement. Since it all happened in the front end of the store there is bound to be tons of security footage that we will never see.Curious, I haven't watched, the guard take any form of cover, or did he run right out undergunned?
The asshole actually skipped over white people and moved along. Now, an everyday White guy would have had a good opportunity to drop him, especially if concealed carrying.
Well said. Every time we hope to get a lift of some restrictions, some nut job randomly pops up.It's pretty much my worst fear (for pro gun rights), as It's the alphabet bois, media and lefts biggest wet dream.
A young radicalized white supremacist with a rifle that he shouldn't be able to have, targeting black people out of hate, while wearing such effective body armor even a retired detective working security couldn't stop him, so A- that negates our argument pistols are good for self defense and we should have them and B- that body armor is so bad even an experienced cop couldn't take him down so clearly civilians shouldn't be able to own this type of murder facilitating gear.
Nothing can push gun control better than a story like this.
I'm super annoyed because it's going to very quickly shift from being about the victims to "how could the shooter do this we must pro actively prevent another"
Looks like the security guard used what he had at the time. to try to neutralize the threat. ...He did what is today a textbook response for law enforcement. ... Engage as soon as possible. We all know if he had a rifle in his car and went to retrieve it while folks were dying he would have been criticized . Hero as a term is too often thrown around in our society ... This man was a true hero .. Standing up to evil... SatanThe video is 50% buffering/pixelated garbage for the bulk of the actual event. There is no such thing as a coincidence my friend .Well said. Every time we hope to get a lift of some restrictions, some nut job randomly pops up.
Hochul said they are announcing new legislation they’ve been planning on Tuesday.Well the longer it stays in the spotlight in NY the longer the public wonders why nothing was done by the authorities who knew this asshat was a threat in June 2021. That’s just less than a year ago. Did NYS not pass a red flag confiscation law? I thought I remember they did.

Last year the 18-year-old shooter Payton Gendron sparked a police investigation when he indicated he wanted to do a mass shooting at a graduation ceremony or after. This morning news, the kid was on the radar having written an essay in school about doing a mass shooting and was given a nut house test aaand he feel through the crack. Riight.
Absolutely true. The guy fought it out knowing he was outmatched when he could have hid and cowered.Looks like the security guard used what he had at the time. to try to neutralize the threat. ...He did what is today a textbook response for law enforcement. ... Folks . We have a system in place to prevent someone with mental issues from getting guns. . If a person says he has a desire to shoot up a school ... gets interviewed by our law enforcement agency ... Mind you this was no jay walking issue..For certain the State police has a trained staff .. even an entire department committed to looking into this issue . Everyone it seems gets put on lists ,, By our government... How did this person NOT make the list to FAIL a background check.
I throw this out to you folks.
Should a person be denied his 2nd because he has say a fantasy to commit mass murder. ?.. Would this not be the same as someone who wants to be a day care worker....During the interview for employment mention they have a sexual attraction for a child ? Thus being enough reason not to hire them.
Should someone in the state police system be held accountable for not seeing that this shooter cannot pass a NICS Check. .. Perhaps the blkame is at the NICS office for not entering this information into the system ...We will never know the answer.
We however feel the repercussions .. More laws against gun owners. I have said this before .. The person shooting the fireman in Webster .. Years ago... Pushed his grand mother down the cellar steps and beat her with a hammer over 60 times in the head .. Evil as they come .. right... And someone set him free .. Should have been doing life without parole ... They set him free to kill again... Cuomo used this shooting as a justification to implement the SAFE Act...
Folks one can have all the laws in the world ... Everything fails if common sense does not prevail...
Of course .. If one was in a mind to destroy the 2nd .. Allowing these folks to do their evil .. Na that would not happen ... would it ?
