I don't get it. These people think that joining the military is like you taking a civil service test for the county as a clerk with a generous medical package where they have to take you.
Joining the military is a selection process. Not everyone gets in. If you do, you cannot have ailments. I bet you think they should be made Rangers, Marsoc, Green Berets, Seals, and Delta too if they just want it without passing selection.
Those that get hurt or develop ailments while in the military get medical discharges if they cannot perform.

I don't understand some of it but I embrace it all now as being a wonderful thing about USA - everyone is free to pursue anything that doesn't hurt other people. I know I love each of my children, my wife, the rest of my family, and my close friends. They can do whatever they want as long as it's not clubbing baby seals or something. I don't think it's cool to insult people who have enough dysphoria going on in their lives already. But LGBT has been mistreated and marginalized for so long that they want to be heard. I don't blame them. Honestly it's not much different than how the South treated blacks back before we were born. If someone told me I couldn't get on a bus or drink from a water fountain I would be pissed as hell. Cuomo got 2A wrong; but I really have no clue what his view is on LGBT rights and protections. I never gave politics much of a thought until all this shit went down with Crooked Hilary, and now that weird Gestapo shit Herr Drumpf wants to do with Title VII and the military. Now suddenly I am seeing politicians doing all sorts of fucked up shit. I hate Drumpf and Pence; but at the time figured he was certainly an order of magnitude better than Crooked Killery. Now with him having zero balls to stand up to NK and Iran, and with him going after American citizens; I am second guessing it. I probably should have voted for that idiot in the LP party that didn't seem to own a globe and know where shit was.

Not sure who you are talking to because it's someone on ignore; but these homophobes think there's a big conspiracy of the trans community to work for less than minimum wage to pay for medical treatment. When I joined up in 83 I think I started at like $600 a month or something pathetic. It wasn't to get rich. Not sure why they asked Rand Corp to study trans numbers for Congress; but they recently did. They didn't seem to know exactly how many trans people were in the military (maybe because after transition your birth certificate and records are altered?) but said it was between like 1.3K and 6K. In the report they said only 130 trans people would have interest in Tricare paying for SRS. Google is all over the place but it seemed like an orchiectomy was like $2K and vaginaplasty was like $6K. Seems like a fucked up way to get $8K of medical care by giving 4 years of your life at a fraction of minimum wage. I'm in the civilian world doing government contracting and make in under a month what a Sargent makes in a year; and I don't have to worry about being on the wrong end of an AK47 every morning when I wake up. Transphobic and homophobic people just make shit up to justify their hatred. And no doubt point to Old Testament to convince themselves it's OK.

One day at the end of class, little Johnny's teacher asks the class to go home and think of a story to be concluded with the moral of that story. The following day the teacher asks for the first volunteer to tell their story.
Little Suzy raises her hand. "My dad owns a farm and every Sunday we load the chicken eggs on the truck and drive into town to sell them at the market. Well, one Sunday we hit a big bump and all the eggs flew out of the basket and onto the road."
When the teacher asked for the moral of the story, Suzy replied, "Don't keep all your eggs in one basket."
Little Lucy went next. "My dad owns a farm too. Every weekend we take the chicken eggs and put them in the incubator. Last weekend only eight of the 12 eggs hatched."
Again, the teacher asked for the moral of the story.
Lucy replied, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch."
Next up was little Johnny. "My uncle Ted fought in the Vietnam war, and his plane was shot down over enemy territory. He jumped out before it crashed but could only take a case of beer, a machine gun and a machete. On the way down, he drank the case of beer. Then he landed right in the middle of 100 Vietnamese soldiers. He shot 70 with his machine gun, but then he ran out of bullets! So he pulled out his machete and killed 20 more. Then the blade on his machete broke, so he killed the last ten with his bare hands."

The truth of the matter is that if we don't figure something out soon (or have it figured out for us via a mass extinction), our genes will be too messed up to sustain the species.
In my adult life I've watched the left jump from wacky cause to wacky cause, always shaking my head but leaving me only mildly perturbed. This one has me downright flabbergasted. They are literally advocating for the normalization of freaks of nature, pushing the idea that not only is this normal, but it's a noticeable percentage of our species and we should tread lightly with children leat we stop them from rebelling against their biology.
Fucking freaks. All of them. Period.
