Rules
Entry posts must be marked "Official Entry"
Challenge must be completed in the same range session as it was started.
Entries must be shot and posted between 1-31 October
Print on 8.5x11 or 8.5 x14 ( the one with the ladies on it) sheet of paper (should fill full sheet).
Only one target may be entered per category. Once you enter a target set it is your score for that category. Any additional targets posted will be for "kudos" only. You may enter all four categories if you wish.
Final tie breaker is date and time of entry
Information required with each entry (any target submitted without the information below will not be considered):
Picture of target with the following information (examples given):
Description of gun ( Remington 783, 38-06, 12-56x56 Simmons super spotter scope)
Distance (100 yards)
Stance or rest used (sandbag front and rear)
Caliber/Cartridge (.30-06 Springfield)
Load used (750 gr SHPBT, 59.5 grains H9002sc, CCI primer)/ whatever factory load you used.
Date (32 Juvember 2317).
The scenario: It is All Hallows' Eve month so there are a lot of things that present themselves as great targets. Jack o Lanterns and Bats are everywhere. Have a blast, literally.
10 Yard Pistol Stance: Free style
25 yard Rifle Stance: Off Hand
100 yard Rifle Stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest / Prone
50 yard Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Stance: Freestyle or Bench Rest
Course of fire: 10 rounds
Scoring: points are on the target, you only have to cut the circle to get the next highest score. Shooting the any part of the pumpkin gives you full points, hit any eye or nose and get an X to add to your score, max of 3X per pumpkin (74 /25x is perfect score). Only one target can be entered per category.
Rifle use the Jack o Lantern target
Pistol and PCC use the Bat target
No rimfire cartridges are allowed in the PCC class.
