For the most part any stock can be pinned by just drilling a hole and blind pinning it.

A little range report on my carbine:
Took it out for @dsdmmat's Shooter of the Year match and I think I scored gold with it! It is not quite as accurate as my other AR, the stalwart Daniel Defense but not by much. It is lighter and handier however, very well suited to offhand shooting. It ran nice and slick too, no stoppages of any kind. In all a good little rifle. Good job @Bullet Guy!

I should also note the tight fit between the upper and lower. I put an accuwedge in the DD, but not in this thing. I think it has the adjustment thingy anyway, but its not adjustmed up against the upper yet. No need. And whatever issues that Centurion handguard may have, it is definitely very, very slim. I like it. Hell I like tge whole gun. All the issues it had coming together had soured me on it a bit but it shone through on the range. As soon as I can do a 1k shakedown on it, providing it passes, I think it will take over defensive duties. It will rock the upcoming class I'm doing too.

I have built 006 and 007 in 224 Valkyrie. 006 has a 22 inch barrel and 007 has a 24 inch barrel.
004 and 005 have not been taken out of the plastic yet. I also have 001, 002 and 003 from another run of EGI lowers that have not been touched yet. I may just put them all on my pistol license for the fun of it.

I kinda wanna put together a PSG1 eat your heart out AR in 224 Valk. But I don't have the space to need one. Maybe after I move to the farmlands of Wisconsin.
Ehh one does not simply need anything when it comes to guns. A strong desire to make it so is all that is required.
No point whatsoever in a long range cartridge like the .224 when the furthest you can shoot is 300 yards. 5.56 is fine for such a distance.
What's the furthest you have shot your Valkyrie rifle? All the print says it's a solid 1000 yard cartridge. I wonder if it's really true?
Only 500 yards this year. I have a a shooting buddy that has 1100 yards at his property, we just need time to get together and make it happen, I want to push the 6.5 Creedmoor out further too.
Wish I could sneak onto one of our (fort drum) known distance ranges and see what everything will do out to as far as they will go.

Sweet Jeepers!!!!! Just got the news that my tractor will NOT cost me $4800.00 in repairs, they picked up everything!!! So it looks like my Valkyrie upper project is back on the table. I want to do a left hand side charger. Ahhhhh, life is good again.

If you want to engage in a source that has great AR build info check out Instructor Chad on YouTube and his business page on Facebook as well - School of the American Rifle (SOTAR). Chad does great autopsies on failed equipment (BCGs etc) and shows you what to look for re quality control. He runs an AR build/gunsmithing class I would love to take.Well now that I read it all... Be warned that there is A LOT of bias against low end/value priced equipment. In fact he dissed so many manufacturers and blocked so many people he recently made an apology video. His passion for the platform is great. He also sells custom tools and gauges for the AR that no one else makes. Unfortunately the demand was so great and he has limited capacity so that he now restricts them to people who attend his classes.
