Haven't there been sightings of these going for the low 500s already? Thought I saw something listing a $499 price. I'd be agog ifbthey went for less than that.

They are going for $529 at a shop in the WNY area.
BAZINGA I got my Ruger PC9 today! Sorry but I can't give to many details as to where I got it! But a LGS gave me a price of $519.00 and it was matched. Had to do it today and today only, so I came down with a case of Gun Flu and called in sick! I got home to late to shoot it but will do that in the morning after I clean it! A full Range report will happen this weekend! I will say this carbine is built like a Tank!

Yes it was dark when I got home! I will put a few round through it in the morning in my back yard tomorrow, then at the Range this weekend!
Not Fudd rules about the indoor range! there are pistol rounds the could exceed 2000 fps in a carbine. And then the is the dummy factor of seeing someone shooting a 357 lever gun, and dummy comes back next week with his/her 30-30 lever gun!

I think it's silly because you are grouping everyone together. This is exactly the same mind set that gets us gun control. One person does something stupid and they take away from everyone. I haven't even been there since construction started on the new ventilation anyways.

Oh fuck that, I'll wager I've spent more time out in the pouring rain than you! You telling me that its not a problem when its so wet that your newly posted targets have disintegrated off the backing by the time you get back to the firing line? Indoor ranges are awful nice to have then.

How would you have any clue how much time I have spent outside in the rain?! I use waterproof targets sally....
I'm just wagering that the large majority of people haven't spent all those years working in the rain and muck and mulch and gravel during all those shit landscaping jobs I had back in the day.
I myself try to find an indoor alternative if I want to shoot in inclement weather. I like my recreational time to be as.......... recreational as possible.

Guy I work with said his dad (an ffl) is getting them and selling them for about 475 480

There is also the TCM 22 that is 2600 fps! And with this little Ruger carbine all that would be needed is a aftermarket barrel.
We have about the nicest indoor Range in the area, but it is from the 80's I believe. Repair and maintenance is already costly! Replacement of a damaged AR-500 steel backstop would cost the member who caused the damage thousands if they are known! If not then the Club (membership) would have to pay for repairs. And then there is the down time the Range may need to be shut down waiting for parts and doing the repair work! All because someone may have seen another member shooting a pistol caliber carbine that looked like an AR-15 or a Lever gun and they just Assumed it was a 5.56/223 or a 30-30!
So our indoor Range is any hand gun shooting ammo under 2000 fps ( No armor piercing ) and 22lr rifles only (No 22 magnums as some of the 30 gr are over 2000 fps)
