They may do some/most/all of these. It will depend on how the ruling is handed down, assuming it is in our favor (I think it is likely to be in our favor). Illinois did something similar back when they became shall issue around 2013 (I lived in Chicago starting in 2014), and Chicago put in a few more restrictions, but nothing that actually affected most people. The easiest thing for NY to do is what Illinois did, make those "no gun" signs enforceable as something more than a trespassing charge. Of course, concealed means concealed.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think this case is going to address the administrative restrictions we have to deal with in NY.
Rather, it will compel areas like NYC, NJ, Hawaii, etc., that historically don't issue permits to us "little people" to do so.

What in total it addresses remains to be seen. The justices can view this as narrowly or as broadly as they wish. The words on paper will dictate, to some degree, what its effect will be. Additionally, how its interpreted ( the most important part- see Heller) will take, in my opinion, some time to play out. The opinion will be a singular day. What it truly means will take a long time.

Yes you are missing something. The two plaintiffs from Rensselaer County were issued restricted licenses and sued to have them lifted that is the basis of the case against NYS. The link below in my signature is for the transcript of the oral arguments, you may want to read.
I agree with you as to that is the basis for the suit, but its still doesn't mean that the entirety of the ruling will, could or won't be broadened or narrowed. We will have to wait and see.

Expect to be disappointed. These cases aren't brought before the court as a broad violation of 2A or the constitution. They're citing very specific issues in these cases, situations and the ruling will not go beyond the case boundaries.
Think of it like the AWB where in most situations the law is circumvented by a simple adjustment.
NY will simply adjust and the citizen can have his cases heard in about 40 years.

And the State during arguments, failed to explain why NY is and should be unique as other States and municipalities that have looser standards than NY, do NOT have the problems that NY imagines in it's arguments to be reality. But like I've mentioned and will wear out... The SCOTUS has no TEETH! So yeah, it's coming, but NY will just brush it off and do what they've always done. The SCRUTINY by which 2A laws are administered and applied is the major issue aside from the May/Shall issue. And NY should be the poster child if why THAT needs to be addressed. Because they will obfuscate and hide behind silly little requirements for a person exercising their 2A Rights as being necessary for public safety or the children, while the intent is readily clear. Watch how NY will REQUIRE firearm owners to carry insurance when for years they've denied this very thing. They'll continue to require training and specific storage requirements, totally infringement, but don't give a shit... And more!
So yeah, it will be nice to have the SCOTUS recognize and rule in citizens favor against overzealous Gov't action(s)... But ultimately it won't change the landscape much!

They already ruled that marriage licenses must be universally accepted.
Drivers licenses are also universal.
There is no logical reason for CC to be treated worse that driving.

Why not just identify as having a permit in every state?

Remember all these cases are about being issued a license (permit) most states that have Open Carry no license is required (Before the wave of Constitution Carry)
