Gravel came this morning. Fortunately they were able to dump it right in the box. Tacked some synthetic roofing underlayment around inside perimeter should help keep wood dry. Spread it out and tamped it with a hand tamper. Dug and poured footings for the posts for woodshed roof. Hopefully start framing tomorrow.

Just busten em, sometimes the big box guys are the easiest. The lumber is awful 90 % of the time though , any real lumber yard will almost always be better ; and cheaper. Pro build/ builders first choice in vails gate is local and gtg.
Floor is (almost) done just need to trim overhang on front and back. Coming out good everything is glued with PL construction adhesive, square and level. The rim joists are glued to the 4x4's and screwed with 6" lag bolts. I put facia on ends of 4x4s to prevent animals from going underneath. Rock solid. Hopefully building roof trusses tomorrow. Tweaked my back with the plywood...

Looking great.
Didn't get much done today back is acting up... got the roof trusses finished. Notched out the tops of the gable end trusses for a couple of "flying" rafters to support the end rafters on overhang. Going to tie these into the first trusses in from gable ends. Left an 8" gap in center so we can put in a vent on each end. Got all the materials on site to frame walls. Hoping to get framing done tomorrow. Maybe get sheathing on roof if all goes well. Yeah, I know, wishful thinking lol...

Framing mostly done still need to do a little more work on trusses they are just braced temporarily so they don't fall over. Will put on the "flying" trusses tomorrow and hopefully get it closed in. Coming out nice. Setting the trusses single handedly was fun lol.

What size is this shed? And what’s the materials cost of you don’t mind saying. I’m planning a 12’x16’ she’d with an 8’x10’ porch. Planning $3,500 for materials. I’ll side it with a few windows. Just checking to see if I’m close.

This is exactly what I need done in my backyard. Have been looking all over for pre-built, kits, metal, wood, adding on to side of the garage, etc. Doing some other fixes to the house at the same time, so project time is here, just have no idea who to contact or if this is something I want to tackle myself.

I agree. I have a 3 car garage with loft and an attached shed and I’m going to build another shed.

I have a nice workshop and then 2 and 1/2 car garage but I want to get some extra space.... specially because I don't have an extra 1/2 car anywhere.
10x12x8' (to top plate approx. 11' to bottom chord of trusses. material cost +/- $3,500. Don't know cost of gravel we used 3 yards. No windows and self built doors. This includes cost of materials for an attached woodshed with roof.
Didn't get much done today. Finished the roof trusses and added ledger board to side of shed for the woodshed roof. Lowes (Chester, NY) was completely out of T1-11 so didn't get siding yet. Packed everything up tight for rain tomorrow will be back on it on Friday. Hopefully get roof done and siding if I can find it, lol.

Oh, and I screwed up the door opening. Was supposed to be 6-1/2' I made it 6' so we agreed to make it 7' lol... Hey, go big or go home! My bad, no worries, easy fix just have to tear out and replace the header and a couple studs and all will be good...
