I tolerate violence in my entertainment if it advances the story, and that's it.
That said, there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between Muslims and Christians.

Even closer to home, when the scumbag Dylan roof killed all the Christian's at church in charleston, or when the southerland springs church in TX was attacked did you see anyone calling for increased church security in NY?

So, I have watched the videos of the shootings. I have read his little Manifesto. I have watched news stories, read a bunch of articles and the comments following these articles.
I come out of all this with a simple thought.
People suck. Plain and simple. Whites, blacks, Asians, Hispanics, christians, muslums and so on. People of all walks of life suck. Period.
Since the start of time, all the way until life ends, there will be hate and vile actions.
We can condemn, we can cry, we can pass laws, none of that will matter. People suck and will continue to suck.
The reasons behind all of these violent attacks matter very little; we, as a people, will never change.

I haven't seen the video, I haven't read the blathering's. Just watching various news stories this morning and what I came away with, of course more gun control, but something that may be even bigger or analogous in the light of freedom and the loss of it, and that was how many news commentators lamented that the go pro video, once on the web, cannot be removed. The way it was presented made me have the sense that there will be a movement to control the internet in the near future and this is the initial inuring of the masses.

Everywhere on earth there are evil people with shit for brains that have the ability and motivation to carry out some horrendous action in the name of some bastardized logic. No law will ever stop them. No amount of compassion will replace the victims. This particular event may have happened in New Zealand, but its INTENDED AUDIENCE IS AMERICA. The shooter wasn't concerned with the policies of New Zealand, his intent was to affect the policies in the U.S.
