Blackpoint Tactical Mini Wing.
Glocks have never excited me. I want to see if the appeal is on the shooting.
The only GlockbI have ever owned was a G20. It was like shooting a brick.
I am eying one of these:

They are still in production! I didn't know that.
I would prefer a blued version though.
Oh, gen 5. Glock finger grooves do not fit my hand. What generation?
So I bought a Glock 19 holster, y'know what that means
The gun I can just walk in and buy. Holsters? Eh, if you like Fobus you could get one over the counter. You put the cart before the horse?
Good choice. I love 1911. Have shot and carried them for 26+ years. (And i shoot em well)
But i switched to a glock for the extra capacity for out of state matches. Some how they multiplied!
Gen 2.....17 and 19
Gen 4 .....19 and 34
Gen 5.......17.
I want a 42, but i have a colt pocketlite so no need for the g42 (not that this is a need based discussion)
The last one will probably be a 18.
The manufacturer does not distinguish between the various generations so I hope the fit is okay.I like the gen 5 except for the cut they put in the front of the grip. It may not bother you, but if it so Pearse makes a mag base plate that fills it and makes it real nice. The finger grooves on the gen 4 suck on the 19 imo. The gen5 trigger is nicer too.
I hope your holster is for a gen 5. The guy who owns the one in the pic had a few gen 4 holsters and they wouldnt work.

Why wouldn't I just buy the version that comes sans grooves? The other sundry small changes seem worthwhile too.

If I came across a good deal on one, sure.Gen 2?
Your right. And gen 6 will be the return or the groves.Gen 2?
If they were smart they would make the entire grip modular so the end user can go from grooves to no grooves at their discretion.Your right. And gen 6 will be the return or the groves.
Best part is they will pass it off as a new deal.
You of all people shouldn’t be recommending taking a cutting tool to a Glock.
If I came across a good deal on one, sure.
However the aftermarket is already gearing up for the new version. Why not stay ahead?

I have always hated those grooves. I wish the trigger guard was larger and that there was more of a undercut to allow that higher grip. Shouldn't have to spend hundreds of dollars for these simple refinements.Oh I'm just busting your balls
I think HK has lost a lot of their relevance in the pistol world actually. S&W has slowly turned the M&P into a very convincing competitor.Honestly glock just needs to keep doing what they used to, and pump out cookie cutter guns that leave the end user with the options themselves, but go back to being competitively priced and stop thinking they are HK or something
Would you belive I've never actually seen one in person?Maybe look at a high point.........jk
I have only seen them but never handled them. Gander and runnings has them. Runnings has the hi point on sale for $145 I think.Would you belive I've never actually seen one in person?
They are looked down upon but everything I have seen about them would indicate that they function reliably. Certainly a better option than the low dollar Saturday Night specials of yore.I have only seen them but never handled them. Gander and runnings has them. I thought about picking one up to beat on....but I don’t because there are soooo many guns I want that I don’t want to spend my money on it.They are looked down upon but everything I have seen about them would indicate that they function reliably.
