I don’t mind the finger grooves on my g40. I held both the gen4 and 5 back to back when I was looking. I could go either way.

Your hands would have to be pretty big for your pinky to be resting on that cutout.
Are you kidding? On the G19 I handled the lowet third of my pinky was hanging off the baseplate! So a like a two and 3/4 finger grip basically.

I wear an XL size glove. But my fingers are kinda stubby and fit better in L size glove fingers.
I also typically prefer the smallest backstrap sizes so I can get my fingers further around the grip.
Yes it will work on the wife it's a Glock they work all the time now if you ask would a 9, 40, or 45 work better on her. That would be a better questoin.

It fragments upon impact with not enough penetration from the gel tests I've seen with 9mm. I'd imagine the extra speed the 10mm provides would be worse.

Guys, I'm a trucker. I haven't been home yet.
The holster is sitting in the Apt office waiting for me to pick it up and the Glock 19 is presumably sitting in the office of my LGS waiting for me to come buy it.
When I snapped the pic for pots 37 in this thread I took my fingers off the grip to show the lack of finger grooves. My hands are on the small to medium size and my pinky is in the cutout.
I cant understand why Glock did that cutout there are better ways to create a way to pull a stuck mag out.

I have rather small hands and when I shot the Gen 5 it was noticeably uncomfortable. I agree with what someone else said, that it's a pretty poor design idea for being able to rip out a stuck mag. Having the cutouts on the side would make much more sense comfort wise, and biomechanics wise.
Or they could have been smart looked at what everyone who wants a combat cut on their magwell has done..... and two cuts one in each side.
Not only will they not have the stupid pinch problem they created (never hear of anyone sad the got combat cuts because it pinches their hand) but it makes more sense, instead of just on small area to try and finger fuck awkwardly you grab from two sides in a more natural way
The Vickers plates are nice. I got some of the M&P ones to try out on my CZ P-07 (saw a video how they fit the 10c mags which are the same thing figured pack of 10 for $20 worth a try) they fit and felt great in the hand, had a similar effect as a magwell with helping get a higher tighter grip, sadly after a good bit of testing they were not reliable (not a big suprise)
One thing to be aware of is many baseplate may not work with restricted mags (according to manufacturer)
