Not that it matters but I have a plain pocket holster for LCR 357. Takes a beating and holds better than some others Ive tried.
This is the "before" pic. With the new job, I don't have the time to strip her and clean her until this weekend. She's no beauty queen, and in fact has a dead trigger. But I accepted the transfer. I'm assuming the trigger is just caked in this old Cosmoline. I hope. But apparently something important happened at 1AM.
I'll strip her this weekend, and if the trigger comes back to life, I'll be happy. No cracks.

Your trigger sounds like what mine was. I had to replace the whole assembly. Maybe the owner shot 1 American in Korea or VN.

I would never touch that, That rifle has personality, It has stories to tell. Men carried that into combat , maybe died with it , Its a piece of history , New stock? OK, re finish? its has to be a crime someplace.
After I snapped that, I pulled the bolt back and manually pushed the sear down and the trigger came back. It's gunked up.
I'm just going to clean the gunk out and oil it up. I personally love the trench art.
