Drones are changing warfare the same way the tank airplane machine gun did. I think we are behind on drone doctrine. Big and expensive isn't the way to go . Can you imagine a B52 dropping a few thousand drones near the front lines? or submarines launching them only a mile or so from the coast or up river? or several dozen on a cruise missile? or fishing trawler? Duce and a half? holy shit .
You get it.
But for others who haven't thought of some of this

Launch a "Drone Pearl harbor" on our fleet or air force
Drone swarms out of shipping containers think a club k but swarms of drones
Drone attack on pipelines, refinery, ports, airports, power plants, dams, or critical infrastructure,
Etc
Anyone with any bit of creativity could think of this. look at what A few assholes with box cutters did.
We need to be prepared to expect threats from outside the box thinking.
