Which handgun should I purchase next?

I have been talking up bolt action precision rifles a lot lately but really what I ought to get is another pistol. I have a woefully scant and unexciting pistol collection consisting of only the S&W Shield, the Glock 19 and the Walther PPQ. The Walther I intend to sell at some point. Thefore should I next purchase a:


Wilson Combat Brigadier Tactical w/ Vertec grip

Or


CZ SDP Compact Custom

Or


Glock 34 Gen 5

Or


S&W 686 4"

Or


S&W 586 4"

Cost does not enter into the decision.

What are your thoughts on use? Just fun, competition, etc? If you’re thinking about any sort of competition (3Gun, IDPA etc) go G34. If just adding to collection get a wheel gun. Either of the smiths are sweet - I’d go with the 686.

Use? Varies depending on the gun I suppose. Range/SD-HD use.
All would be expected to serve in the HD rotation, the CZ is the only one I would bother carrying but its the same form factor as the 19 I carry now. Despite the limited ammo capacity few things seem as reassuring as a .357 on the night stand. The Glock 34 is in there because of all the handguns I've shot I shoot best with my 19, and I enjoy shooting it too hence the 34. Moar Glock.
The Wilson Combat 92 has the sex appeal, as does the CZ, the S&Ws have a Tim Allen gruntiness that appeals to me.

This probably goes without saying but, my vote was for the 4” 686 you’ll love that little hand cannon so much you’ll want it’s big brother, the Model 629

That's a fine pistol, the equal of the WC, but my preference is to not have the bright accents on the controls. Never did like bright and shiny anything on a firearm

Speaking of which, is there a finish or treatment that one can apply to stainless steel that approximates the look of a lustrous blued finish?

Go for a wheel gun if you don't have one already.

You have a Glock 19. No need to purchase any other pistol, and sell your Shield and PPQ as you don't them.

Ah, perfect. If I were to get the 686 (and I favor it over the 586 as it can be had in a 7 shot version) I would send it out to have this done.
I have always loved the look of a blued revolver with nice hardwood grips.

I have had enough of ARs for awhile. I need some honest to goodness handguns in my collection. I have at least 2 more AR purchases in the pipeline with the pimptastic carbon fiber everything lightweight build I have in mind and the LMT MWS 308 Sniper. And the half AR 180 thing. And I am thinking of a sort of throwback AR build with all the recently out of fashion things on it.

I looked it up and indeed it does. However I am a picky, picky man and I want a 4" and the 586 L-comp is a 3" and the sight placement looks weird to me. 4" vs 3" is purely aesthetic for me. A 4" revolver looks the best balanced to me.

I have fingered the WC version and I thought the trigger was outstanding. But I am not much of a trigger snob really. I mean I actually like the stock Glock trigger.

I bought a used 19 as a backup and really remembered why I originally didn't like Glocks to begin with. Updated trigger on #1. Will have to do it on the backup. Stock just doesn't do it for me. Upgrade my revolvers as well.
Out of the box the LTT was awesome, and surprisingly the M9A3 wasn't too far behind. Went with the LTT because of it's lack of mass production numbers.
