Both the cylinder and cylinder release had sharp edges that dug into my skin carrying it in my waistband without a holster. So last night I chucked up the cylinder in my lathe and removed the sharp edge on the cylinder front and also removed the sharp edges from the cylinder latch.

Prefer the DPMS...I have a couple of them and am real happy with their performance and construction (including the heavy barrel).

Went to the DPMS web sight along with other other vendor sites and don't see the DPMS BA-22 upper listed anywhere. They say out stock & DPMS only has the complete 22LR rifles listed. They seem to be the only outfit selling 22LR uppers without muzzle breaks (NY AKA - Brakes)

Good for you...around here it's the norm. By the time I pay shipping, wait a week, have it shipped to a dealer, pay $20-$30 transfer fee..I'll pay the extra $10 to have it done in one day. If you have stocked local dealers...good for you.......we don't up here.
